Dylan was back on her grade school placement this week. She had been encouraged by her professor and the faculty at the school to teach more classes. Dylan had to admit it was boosting her self-confidence in her ability to teach and know that others had faith in her skills. Dylan was doing more lesson plans and thinking of other ways to teach the 1st grade curriculum to the kids.
Doing all the work needed took her mind off the Owen situation for a while. Dylan still hadn't made her mind up about it all. She was nervous. Would she be safe?
After finishing her placement for the day, Dylan drove back to her apartment building. She got in, did her college work, and packed a bag for Brendons. They were going to a cabin for the weekend.

Owen was talking with his therapist, Dr. Newby.
"She must come and see me, doc." Owen said. He got up from the armchair and started to pace.
"Owen, we have discussed this before. You can't force a person, can you?" Owen nodded. "You can't make someone do something they don't want to do. Dylan is her own person. It is entirely up to her, whether she visits you or not."
"I know."
"There's more I need to tell you. But that will keep until our next session." Dr. Newby said. Owen stood back up and left the office.
Owen needed a plan to talk to Dylan on her own if she came. There's things that he needs to say to her in private.

Dylan was tidying her apartment when her buzzer rang. She was blasting some Panic! At The Disco out.
"ITS NINE IN THE AFTERNOON.." She sang out as the apartment door opened. Dylan was currently mopping her kitchen floor when a pair of arms slipped around her waist from behind, and a kiss was placed on her cheek. Dylan smiled and turned around to look at her boyfriends handsome face.
"Hello, beautiful. "Brendon said and kissed Dylan.
"Hello, handsome." Dylan said and put her arms around his neck.
"Are you almost ready?" Dylan nodded and finished the floor, got cleaned up, and grabbed her things.
They went down to Brendons car and set off for his house.

The cabin was in in a State Park not far from San Diego.
Brendon pulled up at the house, and it was wonderful. They were surrounded by trees, and there were birds singing.
The cabin itself was 2 storeys. It had a hot tub out on the wooden decking, overlooking a river and waterfall.
Dylan and Brendon took their bags to their room. Dylan sat on the bed and looked out of the window. The view was magnificent. All that could be seen was the forest. Brendon sat next to Dylan and kissed her cheek.
"Do you like it, Dyl?" He asked her.
"I do, Bren. It's beautiful." They had brought groceries with them as there was quite a distance to a market.
Dylan went back out to the car and brought in the groceries. It was nearly lunchtime. The clouds were forming, so there could be a chance of rain. Brendon unpacked his bag and went onto the balcony adjoined to their bedroom. He inhaled deeply and then exhaled slowly. He needed this little getaway as much as Dylan did.
The label wanted new music. Already. Brendon was still touring after this break. It was the world tour. He would be away for quite some time.

After lunch, Brendon and Dylan went for a walk. They came across the waterfall that could be seen from their cabin. Dylan gasped when she saw how beautiful it really was up close. She took some photos and video of it. Dylan had ideas for a lesson plan involving it. Brendon took some selfies with Dylan, the waterfall as the backdrop. He took one of them kissing tenderly. Dylan loved that photo. Brendon sent it to her, and she made it her profile picture on Instagram and Facebook. Straightaway, her phone was buzzing with notifications as was Brendons because she had tagged him in it.
"Who are you?"
"Urgh, are you his new girlfriend?"
"Omg, you look so happy together."
"Aww, true ❤️"
Dylan kissed Brendon again, and they walked back towards the cabin. The temperature was decreasing, and there had been a few droplets of rain.
Brendon made them both some hot chocolate. They cuddled up on the couch, under a sofa throw, and watched a movie as the rain got heavier. A thunderstorm was approaching.
