I woke up this morning feeling exhausted, most likely from the heavy drinking I did with my sister, Meera, last night. As I make my way to my office, I curse myself for indulging so much. Although I've been trying to hydrate by drinking water, nothing beats a strong cup of coffee from my favorite cafe, Java-Nation.

After taking a seat, I begin to type up the monthly report. Dr. DiTullio and I have a meeting scheduled at 2 pm with an important executive whom he knows from his home country. He will be training us on how to use the new software for our safe. I've been putting off this task as I'm not very skilled with technology, but I have no other option.

As I glance at the clock, I realize it's already 11 am. I want to finish this report before anything else interrupts me, but suddenly, my email notification dings. It's from Dr. DiTullio. The subject line reads "Meeting!" and I quickly open it.

Subject: Meeting!

Hello Havika,

We have a meeting scheduled with Mr. La Vecchia in 10 minutes. He is arriving early, so please gather everyone and meet us in the training room.

Best regards,

Dr. DiTullio, MD

Oh no! I've completely lost track of time. I need to hurry and compile the report. I quickly save my progress, shoot out a mass email to the team, and rush out of my office. The training room is on the third floor, and I'm on the fifth. I get up from my desk, grab my clipboard, and walk out of my office towards the elevator. I can't afford to keep Dr. DiTullio and especially not Mr. La Vecchia, the CEO of our parent company, waiting.

Panting and sweating, I finally make it to the training room to find everyone already gathered except for two people: Dr. DiTullio and the trainer, Mr. La Vecchia. Taking a seat next to Emma Garcia, the receptionist, I feel grateful for the camaraderie in this office; we are like family. As my colleagues catch up with each other, I take a moment to catch my breath.

At last, Dr. DiTullio enters with a very tall, attractive man behind him, who happens to be Mr. La Vecchia. The man looks to be about 6'7", with salt-and-pepper hair and light green eyes with a hint of gray. He is well-built and covered in tattoos. He is like a real-life version of someone you would see on the cover of a magazine. I can't help but feel drawn to him, wanting to run my hands all over his body. Mr. La Vecchia is accompanied by an army of men who follow him into the training room. Luckily, the room is large enough to fit them all.

Although I have never crossed paths with him, I am familiar with his infamous reputation for being merciless. Lost in my thoughts, I suddenly hear Dr. DiTullio motioning for me to join them at the front of the room with a smile on his face. My heart races as I stand near such an attractive man who gives me an appreciative once-over.

His eyes roam over my body, and I feel exposed and vulnerable. To calm my racing heart, I take several deep breaths, but it feels like I might pass out at any moment. Suddenly, he looks at me with a smirk, as if he knows that he has the power to make me nervous.

As I stood there, feeling the intensity of Mr. La Vecchia's gaze, Dr. DiTullio began the meeting with a warm welcome. "Good morning, everyone," he announced with enthusiasm, "I trust you're all ready for our training session with Mr. La Vecchia here."

Mr. La Vecchia finally spoke, his voice deep and commanding, "Thank you, Dr. DiTullio. I appreciate the opportunity to work with your team today." His words were smooth and carried a sense of authority that demanded attention. On the opposite side of the room, Dr. DiTullio motions for me to join him at a set of tables. Mr. La Vecchia is standing in front of us with all the necessary materials to train us.
