"Wow, way to keep it positive, Branch," Satin said.
"I'm sorry. I'm a realist," Branch said.
Poppy/Branch: [They're alive... about it]
"I was wrong," Branch whispered softly. "I hated seeing that look."
Being right next to him, Poppy heard her boyfriend. She grabbed his hand and gave it a comforting squeeze.
Poppy/Branch: [Hey, I... Maybe]
"That was brilliant!" Barb said, laughing.
"Looking back, it was a pretty creative way to make me stop talking," Poppy agreed with a small giggle.
"Too bad it won't work now," Branch said teasingly.
"Aw, too bad," Poppy said with a fake pout. "Guess you're stuck with this chatterbox."
Poppy/Branch: [So special... night, Poppy]
"Wow, Branch is done," Trollex said.
"I was exhausted, OK? It had been a LONG day," Branch told him.
Branch/Poppy: [*Ding* Don't even... you again]
"Wow, did not expect you to know this song," Barb said.
"Sound of Silence? Uh, yeah! It's a great song," Poppy exclaimed.
"No, I agree. It's just not your typical pop song," Barb said, shrugging.
"Don't you know not to judge a book by its cover?" Poppy asked.
Barb opened her mouth, but quickly closed it again.
"You got me," she said.
Spider/Branch: [Hello.... May I? *throws ukulele in fire*]
"Branch," Delta Dawn said disapprovingly. "Why would you do that?"
"I was annoyed. I know that's no excuse and my actions were uncalled for. I'm sorry, Poppy," Branch said.
"I crossed a line," Poppy said, shaking her head. "I'm sorry."
"But I still destroyed your property."
"Nothing that couldn't be replaced. Are we good?"
Branch smiled and nodded, "We're good."
"OK, but look at Poppy's face," Trollex said.
"I was shocked!" Poppy exclaimed.
Poppy/Cloud Guy: [So one... hole wisely!]
"Oh no," Branch grumbled.
"Who's that?" Bruce asked.
"You'll see," Branch said with a scowl.
Cloud Guy: [For one... root tunnels]
"It's a... cloud?" Clay asked, confused.
"A very annoying cloud," Branch grumbled.
"His name is Cloud Guy, and Branch here can't stand him. I find him funny, personally," Poppy elaborated.
"Of course you do. He doesn't target you," Branch told his girlfriend.
Poppy giggled.
Cloud Guy/Branch: [Uh, I... fine, thanks]
"Really, Branch?" John Dory asked.
"Yes, really. There's this thing called stranger danger," Branch said, crossing his arms.
Poppy/Cloud Guy: [Branch!... tell you]
"That seems fair," Queen Essence said.
"You can't get something for nothing," King Quincy said, nodding in agreement.
Branch: [What?... That's weird]
"I have to agree," Gristle said.
Cloud Guy/Branch: [Come on.... be doing]
"Why are you being so stubborn?" John Dory asked.
"Excuse me for not wanting to high five a complete stranger," Branch said with a roll of his eyes.
"I'm sorry," Poppy said, interjecting. "Are you just realizing Branch is stubborn?"
"Gee, love you too," Branch mumbled.
"Aw, you know I didn't mean it rudely," Poppy said.
Poppy: [Branch, it's... Classic]
The majority of the room exploded in laughter.
"What great friends," Branch muttered, rolling his eyes.
"Sorry, Branch, but that is a classic move," Guy Diamond told him.
The rest of the Snack Pack nodded in agreement.
Cloud Guy: [No, no... we hug]
"I'm starting to understand why you don't like this guy," Barb told Branch.
"Thank you! He's so annoying!" Branch exclaimed.
"OK, but you gotta admit. Those fist bump tricks were impressive," Clay said.
"I know right! I didn't even catch half of them," Cooper said.
Branch groaned. "Can we move on, please?"
Branch: [*breaks twig* That's right... with them]
Guy Diamond covered his sons ears. "Dude, there are children present! Well... a child."
"Sorry, not sorry," Branch said.
Poppy/Cloud Guy: [He's just... We're here]
"See, he's helpful," Poppy said.
"Uh huh," Branch said, raising an eyebrow. "Name one other time he's been helpful."
"Um... Oh! How about the time he drove us to Bergen Town?" Poppy asked.
"You mean when he drove us into a wormhole?"
Poppy went silent in thought. When she didn't reply, Branch said, "That's what I thought."
Cloud Guy/Branch: [Phew... Bergen Town]
"What??" Viva cried.
"Branch, you might have a point about Cloud Guy," Poppy sighed.
She got up and knelt in front of her sister.
"Viva, take my hand," Poppy instructed. "I am right here, and I'm not going anywhere."
"I... I hear your words, Poppy," Viva said. "But it's like the fear and worry take over."
"I can understand that," Poppy said. "Do you want to take a break?"
Viva nodded slightly.
"OK, we can do that."
"Can I... talk to Branch?" Viva asked as everyone got up.
"Of course," Branch said, and followed Viva to somewhere a little more private.
