Note: I am so sorry about how the last chapter ended. I do not know how to end a cliffhanger, lol.

Also, I rerolled in 5.0 of genshin and got a Diluc in like 5 pity and the next 10 pull BOOM Kinich so I'm pretty happy.

I felt the sounds of being in the ER and the nostalgia of it flooding back.

God, i wish I had more confidence

Wham

The scary-looking guy got punched in the face by the other way more scarier guy.

I must have gasped way too loudly as the more scarier man began approaching me

"hmm, who is this cutie" he smirked he was a tall tan guy with blue hair.

I opened my mouth but nothing came out.

After a pregnant pause all across the gym, the coach came over

"Aomine" he uttered under his breath seemingly annoyed, "apologize to "

"Hmm why should i af-" The guy whose name was aomine paused as he saw how angry the coach was

It seemed he still respected a few people or maybe the coach was more scarier.

"Fine" he sighed before he continued.

"I'm sorry"

The way he said it reminded me of how many of my bullies would sometimes be called out by teachers and when asked to apologize, they would say it in the most mocking tone.

I glanced at the teacher but he didn't bother to do anything.

I clenched my fists and wished I was stronger, I didn't want to see anyone be bullied like I was.

Momoi must have noticed that I was annoyed and called out the scary guy

"ney, dai-chan don't be so mean and apologize well"

"hmm, I already did, c'mon" he turned his head to, who was getting treated by the captain as the punch seemed to have injured him, "See he isn't mad"

God, he was annoying as hell

He began walking out of the gym but Momoi ran and blocked his way.

"What's wrong with you, you said you'll come practice today"

"Move momoi" he ordered and when she didn't budge he continued,

"This team is just useless, say" he turned back and addressed the team

"How many points did I score?" He asked mockingly as if he found everyone as a pest.

 "ano" a blond guy began nervously "a hundre-"

"good and how many did you all score"

"f-five"

"hmm, so why should I be here"

With that rhetorical question, he pushed Momoi to the ground and left murmuring something along the lines of,

"The only person he can beat is me"

Timeskip

One peculiar thing I noticed with the too basketball team is how calm and cool everyone is with everything.

Despite the fact that Aomine brutally punched him, the guy whose name was Wakamatsu laughed it off and after a while went back to practice.

Time skip

"All alright listen up" the coach called bringing everyone's attention to him, "we have a prtice game with Kirisaki Daichi next week"

At first I was excited but I looked around and saw everyone frowning.

"Uhh" they simultaneously groaned

I was about to ask why they were so upset but Momoi answered the unsaid question.

"they're an infamous group known for injuring players"

"Ah I see" I hope they will be ok

Time Skip

"Thank you so much" I bowed my head to thank the team

No worries" everyone beamed

I checked the time and it was 7 pm, Which meant we had practiced for 4 hours

I wonder if practice every day is so consuming, I complained to myself, yet I was excited and wanted to continue being a manager,

"Y/N chan" Momoi approached me with a huge smile on her face it seemed everyone had forgotten about the huge scene with Aomine "lets go home together"

"a-ah, ok"

Momoi and I continued walking in silence until I decided to ask about aomine

"Ney, why is Aomine like this he is kinda scary and why does the team tolerate him?" I asked hoping my anger won't show

"Well," she sighed before continuing, "he wasnt always like this if you get to know him he is a lovely person"

Hearing Momoi describe him as a sweet person made him take a good look at her face and I noticed she was blushing.

"do you l-"

By the time I could finish the question We reached momoi house and she said "well, goodbye"

Time skip

I flopped down to my bed. It was 7:35 p.m., and I was exhausted, so I decided to go to sleep.

Man, what a day
