A few days have passed. Not much has changed. Or happened. But I'm on edge. Nervous. I've tried and tried to text Shiro. Who. Hasn't shown up for school these past few days. Which also makes me even more worried. Edgey. And nervous. I'm mean. I'm practically chewing my finger nails down to the quick, type nervous. And this is bad. Very very bad. Reason? Anxiety. Stress. Which leads to fear and panic. Which also leads to paranoia. And- yea. I think you get the idea... Anyways... It's Friday. Which means tons and tons of fun at school. And home. Also meaning the weekend once again! So hopefully I'll be able to get my mind off things. As school passes by fast, I soon find myself at home. Planning for the weekend. My thoughts now distracted and elsewhere. Mom helps me plan. I am thinking of going on a picnic or something. But I'm not sure. Mom helps me decide. Which. Is a very epic arcade that I've always wanted to go to. Me. Mom. And Matthew, soon find ourselves heading in that direction. When we walk in, Me and Matt immediately run towards the dance challenge game. While we play, mom gets snack and stuff for later. For hours and hours me and Matthew play. When we're ready for a break, we head to the booth mom is sitting at and eat and drink. And talk. It's great, spending time like this. And I don't think anything! And I mean Anything! Could ruin this for me....

Meanwhile...... "You have her in you're sights?" Says a distorted voice on one end of a call. "Yes. But how are you sure that's her?" There isn't an answer. As if the person on the other end is contemplating something. Finally. They answer. "Yes. It's her...." "How do you know?" "Just trust me. I know. Because.... Never mind. Just trust me on this. Keep an eye on her for a few more weeks. When those weeks are up, then move in. But not without my concent." There is a edge of a warning in the person's voice. Meaning... If I fail.... It could mean dire consequences. But. Luckily for me.... I'm not just any bounty hunter, here in this city. Here in one of Chicago's most advanced and famous places. "Hey. I'll trust you, man. I've got this. I mean, they don't call me The Silver Bullet for nothing." There's a groan of aggravation on the other end. "Don't get a big head just yet, Silver. You still have a job to do. Just Don't. Get. Caught." I laugh. "Me? Get caught?! I never get caught!" "You better hope not. Or this may be the last bounty that The Silver Bullet tracks...." I swallow hard. Man. This kid doesn't miss a beat. "Y yea. Sure thing, Boss." Then. The line goes dead. I take a deep breath. Glance at the girl, her mom and her boyfriend, from the shadows. And, in the crowds of people, here in the arcade. I don't fail. I always get my target. Although... It makes me wonder... Why go after an innocent teen? I'm no kidnapper. I'm a bounty hunter. An assassin. What makes this girl.... So special?&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
After we get finish eating and drinking. I challenge mom to a friendly game of air hockey. "Oh. You're so on!" My mom says as we head towards it. I laugh. Glad to see mom in her.... What she calls a 'gamer mom mode'. Mom pretends to crack her knuckles and then gets ready to take me on. "I'm so going to crush you, mom!" I say. challengingly while I laugh. "Oh we'll see about that!" She laughs as well. Matthew leans against a wall nearby and watches us. His arms crossed. "Oh. Boy. Looks like someone's in for a serious beat down. Haha!" "Who's side are you on, Matt?" I ask. Raising my brow and a playful glint in my eyes. He raises his hands in mock surrender. "Hey. I'm not on anyone's side. I'm just saying that you're mom.... Is pretty good." "Oh really. And how would you know?" I say as I set down the puck for a moment and walk over to Matthew. A sort of romanticness in my eyes, other than the mischief still in them. I lean in. My face inches from his. For a moment there are no words. But mom clears her throat to get my attention before I do something I'm not allowed to. I step back and let my hand lightly brush against Matt's for a moment and then get back to the game that me and mom had just started. "So. Are you ready to eat my dust?" Asks mom. Her playfulness evident. "Oh. Are you ready to face my wrath?" "We'll see about that!" Then. With that. Our game begins and it's intense. We go to get ten points before finishing and playing other games. To be honest? Mom almost beat me. Almost.&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
After hours of playing, we find ourselves walking outside to the car. My mind is drifting elsewhere as we walk. Course. It's normal for me because of my ADD. But my mind's drifting to the events of today. After a moment though, I decide to try and text Shiro to let him know that he'd missed out on the fun today. When I'm done with that I put my phone back in my pocket and continue to walk with mom and Matthew. But... Not long after we almost reach the car. I get the sense I'm being watched. I glance around but see nothing. Odd... Right? But I just shake it off and we all get in the car.
