I was sitting at home on my laptop, trying to focus on some schoolwork, when my phone rang. Glancing at the screen, I saw Alice's name. Without hesitation, I answered and immediately started yelling.

"What the heck was that move you and your family just pulled, Alice?" I shouted, my frustration boiling over.

"Ishkhan, I know," she said, her voice strained. "I already feel shitty about it. I don't need you to tell me that. I need you to listen to me."

I paused, taken aback by the urgency in her voice. "What happened to Bella?" she asked, her words hitting me like a punch to the gut.

"What do you mean?" I asked, my anger giving way to confusion.

"I saw Bella die," Alice said, her voice cracking. "She jumped off a cliff."

My mind raced. "That can't be right. She was fine a couple of days ago."

"Ishkhan, meet me at the Swan's house," she insisted.

Without another word, I grabbed my keys and bolted out the door. My heart pounded as I drove to the Swan's house, each passing second filled with worry for Bella.

I finally pulled up to the Swan's house, my heart pounding in my chest. There was another car parked in the driveway, and I recognized it as Carlisle's. I quickly got out of my car and rushed to the front door, fumbling with my keys. My hands were shaking as I unlocked the door and stepped inside.

The house was eerily quiet. I walked into the living room and saw Alice sitting on the couch, her face pale and drawn. She looked up as I entered, her eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and fear.

"Alice, how do you know that Bella died?" I asked immediately, my voice filled with urgency.

Alice took a deep breath, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I saw a vision of it," she said quietly.

I felt a wave of confusion wash over me. "But your visions can change, Alice. How do you know she actually died?" I pressed, hoping against hope that there was some mistake.

Alice shook her head slowly, her expression grim. "I didn't see Bella get out of the water," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

The weight of her words hit me like a ton of bricks. I sank down onto the couch beside her, my mind racing. The reality of the situation was starting to sink in.

"We need to find out what really happened," I said, my voice trembling.

Alice and I waited anxiously at the Swan's house. The air was thick with tension, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. Suddenly, the door creaked open, and Bella stepped inside. The moment she saw Alice, she rushed forward and hugged her tightly.

"Alice!" Bella exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of relief and confusion. "I can't believe you're here!"

Bella pulled back slightly, her eyes wide with shock. "Alice, what are you doing here?"

Alice's expression turned serious. "Maybe you can explain to me how you're still alive."

Bella's confusion deepened. "What do you mean?"

Alice's eyes narrowed. "I saw a vision of you jumping off a cliff. Why would you do that?"

Bella's face softened, and she shook her head. "It's not what it looks like, Alice. I was cliff jumping."

I couldn't help but give her a skeptical look. "Cliff jumping?" I repeated, my voice dripping with disbelief. "Do you really expect us to believe that lie?"
