Springwood, Ohio No POV

Wade was driving towards Mark's house after scouting the entire crop field and finding nothing of where Jason went or where he's going.

Wade: <on the phone> Jason. Jason Voorhees. It was not Freddy, it was Jason. Then explain how ten victims were murdered wide awake during a rave that had music that can wake up fifty fossils. Don't argue with me on this, sheriff, I'm the expert here! I will deal with it myself if I have to. I still expect payment! <hangs up>

Wade parked at Mark's house as he got out to see Will and Lori looking distressed.

Wade: where are you all running off to?

Will: Mark is dead. Freddy is strong enough to kill again. He killed Mark.

Wade: and where do you think you'll be going?

Lori: I- I don't know.

Will; we'll get our friends and go to Bill's place.

Wade: and here I was coming to kick Mark's ass.

Will: what's wrong with you?

Wade: he spread the fear of Freddy around in school. Now that everyone knows who Freddy is plus how scared everyone was back at the cornfield, it's game over. Come on, get in the van and start driving.

Will and Lori got in the van as Wade followed. They picked up their friends as they all went to Bill Freeburg's house.

Charlie: why don't we all just leave?

Lori and Wade were at the couches while everyone else was at the table.

Will: no, even if we leave, Freddy can still get us. We all know about him, we're all afraid of him. It was our fear that gave him his power. We're marked now.

Bill: man, screw that clown. I mean, what kind of pussy comes after you in your dreams anyway? Now that big ass mother fucker back at the cornfield, all right, that's who we should be afraid of. Tell me who the fuck that was.

Before Wade could respond, the Deputy came in and answered.

Stubbs; his name was Jason Voorhees.

Bill hit the weed he was smoking as the kids looked at him.

Wade: if it isn't Deputy dumbass.

Will: how'd you know we were here?

Stubbs: nothing personal, but the Scooby van out back wasn't exactly subtle. And never keep your keys in the door. <throws the keys to Bill and he catches them>

Kia: great, so now we're completely fucked.

Stubbs; no, you're not. I'm here to help you. Wade, some eye witnesses told that you faced Jason alone. As if you recognized him.

Wade: because I did. Jason Voorhees supposedly drowned at Camp Crystal Lake in 1957 when he was 11 years old. His body was never found. His mother went crazy and started the first killings of the camp before she was beheaded. Some time later, the girl who killed her was killed and Jason's legend started. He kept coming back before he died then some time later, he came back and became a super natural entity that kept returning from the grave until ten years ago, he was finally sent to Hell.

Stubbs; then we're dealing with a copycat here.

Wade: that was no copycat. Seems Jason returned, even from Hell.

Will; how do you know about Jason and him going to Hell?

Wade: I was there. Ten years ago, I saw how he was dragged to Hell. He's returned.
