your soul had a crack in it, despite this your soul glowed brightly, a white shine where you could see the slight slips of your trait under the first layer.
The upside down heart failed to give away the 'deadly' disease you possessed. 'Extreme Magic Leakage', something that occurs when the soul leaks out magic at a deadly and fast rate.
You had chosen this leakage state because it means that you could gain magic skills more easily, since the magic would be more accessible - although those in your environment could as a well drain you of your magic by using it.
But you already knew of an artifact that could seal this trait, so you figured it was best to reap the benefits of learning magic skills earlier and faster.
Plus due to the meditation ability you could just meditate in order to gain enough magic not to die from the effect.
Said meditation was what managed to keep you alive through all this, and is also the reason why you can no longer sleep anymore.
You sigh as you realised how long back you had shot your own foot, the advantage had turned into a devastating disadvantage with your no longer being capable of getting the artefact without putting Pages and you in danger. Meaning your stuck hoping no one notices your strange trait, who know what they'll do with such an easy accessible magic source afterall.
