----------A month later

I continued to protect Howard for the past month, but when we got to the end of the month, he didn't pay me any money because he said it was payment for tearing down his house.

Luckily he wasn't a completely ruthless man and remembered giving me a thousand dollars so I could have some money in my pocket.

"Oh come on!"

And right now Howard continues to insist that I teach him sun breathing.

I frowned and answered him without breaking my cross-legged position and without opening my eyes.

"No."

"There is no need for the demon hunters to become extinct, the curses are already extinct. Let me inherit your master's legacy."

"Our great master Tanjiro-sama would have wanted it that way."

"He wasn't even your master. Besides, you've never even seen him. Come on, I'll pay you ten million to make me a real warrior. I'll even call you master."

"It's not just about him. It's also about a demon hunter friend of mine."

"What, that's your excuse now? Come on, if you cared so much about them, you would have fought them in the first place instead of running away."

Insensitive motherfucker.

"Shin no senshi wa ken o nukazu ni tatakau mono da"

"And what does that mean?"

"It means a true warrior is one who fights without drawing his weapon."

"Tch, whatever. For the next month, I'm in charge of setting up the machines for the animal test subjects phase of the super soldier project. If you're not interested in staying here, why don't you take care of my operations at Stark Industries?"

"Okay."

Hearing Howard's footsteps in the distance, I opened my eyes, stood up, and closed the door that Howard had left open when he left. Howard and I were now on a military base near a military training camp. Right after my show last month, Howard had been called to the base to investigate and I had come with him. Fortunately, they gave me a personal room.

For the past month, while I was following Howard, I continued to increase the amount of cursed energy in my body using the general cultivation technique. Unfortunately, I didn't have a pair of blue eyes like Gojo Satoru, so the limitless technique cost me a lot of cursed energy.

The general cultivation technique was unsatisfying because it focused on each of my attributes at the same time.

The reason Howard trusted me with Stark Industries was because the only thing I had learned from him in the past time was how the company worked.

While I was here, Howard was constantly ignoring people who came to him with company matters.

Once he jokingly told people who tried to reach me that I was his new secretary. When the guys heard this, I tried to deal with them to relieve my boredom and it worked. When Howard found out, he took the opportunity to teach me the basics and started to put me in jobs he didn't like.

At first, I thought I could be a Tony Stark-level scientist because of my phenomenal memory, but when Howard taught me that science was all about time allocation, I lost interest and ended up as a part-time secretary and part-time bodyguard.

"Hey is anybody here?"

I hear the voice from outside the room and the veins in my forehead start to pop out. The jhonny jins lookalike standing in the doorway yelling at me was the first change in the timeline of this world that I caused.

He is the young bald colonel I challenged last year. When I revealed my inhuman physical strength and swordsmanship, the higher-ups thought that this man had tricked me into revealing my abilities at the cost of no one's life.

The superiors, who thought the man had a strategic mind, gave him one big promotion at a time that day.

"I'm coming if you're not making a sound."

The door opened and a bald man walked in. The veins in my forehead burst as I looked at the one-star rank of general on his shoulders.

I got up from the floor, took a deep breath, calmed myself down, and sat down at my desk. The man sat down across from me, put the whiskey bottle and glasses he had brought with him on the table, and poured us each a glass of whiskey.

"Hey my man, how's it going?"

"I'm not your man."

The man pouted his lips and mimed a fake cry like he was very impressed by my negative answer. Meanwhile, he poured a whiskey and put it in front of me.

"Come on, it hurts me when you say that, you're my best friend."

I took the whiskey that was placed in front of me and poured it at the base of the miniature tree next to my chair and told him once again that we were not friends.

"What! You helped me get a promotion and I'm willing to help you in return. That's what friendship is. That's what friends do."

"If you talk any more nonsense, I'll blow your head off from the inside. Just tell me why you came here."

I kept staring into his eyes for a while, trying to show him that I was serious about killing him, and finally, he gave up and explained the real reason for his coming here.

"Actually, I didn't come here, I was sent, to bring you good news."

"Go on."

"Your offer to the senator has been accepted, but there are conditions. He's going to give you all the land in the Midtown area, but you can't sell it, you can only rent it, and there are a few other minor conditions."

As much as I wanted to jump up and down with joy, I kept silent and wanted to know the next conditions. The Midtown area is worth almost 150 million dollars now, after all.

"Condition 1- At least two of the super soldiers you train can use the sun breathing technique like you. Condition 2- This training will yield results within a maximum of one year. Condition 3- The total number of soldiers to be trained will be increased from fifty to one hundred.
