A young man with a mission to do great things guided by will or by fate? The answer was unknown but surely there were people whom knew the truth. People like the Shaman whom lived in exile for his 'radical' ways, the townspeople would learn of his teachings but wouldn't adhere to the lifestyle it brought on, failing to believe what they couldn't see, touch, or hear right away. Things like this took time to bear witness, things of this nature were powerful enough to break a man's mind! Powerful enough for a woman to abandon her beauty! Azo walked passed a few stragglers from the village gathering nodding his head to greet them respectfully, he'd stop dead in his tracks upon seeing his fathers gaze set upon him. A silence washed over the entire clearing it seemed like, as the two stand there after months of no contact. Azo refusing to live in the presence of people whom did not believe in his visions, people whom criticized, mocked, and abandoned hope for him. His father's betrayal cut deeper than most, his fathers disapproval cut deeper than any blade, hit harder than any warrior, held carried more pain than a broken bone. Azo seen the look of disappointment on his fathers face while his head shook shamefully he looked down at the ground full of shame.
The one person in this world whom would understand his plight was rejecting him and his 'ideals' as the older man called them. Azo's flame dimming slightly from this encounter made the young man realize it would probably be best to forget about making contact with any of the people from his previous life, until they would respect him and his passions. He clenched his fist, his sorrow turning into motivation to prove them all wrong "Father, I know you don't believe me but stay indoors tonight, keep your blade near your side.. Please just do this one thing I had a vision-" "That's enough. I was once filled with pride when I looked at you, my son envisioning his future! But now it is almost as if all hope is lost." His father took three steps closing the gap between the two placing his hand on his sons shoulders "I've talked to the townspeople they will accept you, give up this insane dream of yours today! Your mother worries for you as well as your sisters daily, We need you." Azo kept his head down unable to make eye contact with his father pulling his shoulder back "There is no road left except the one that leads to the end." His father's eyes were full of disappointment as the elder male took a few steps back "Where did I go wrong with you? You will die as a man unable to face reality! You will die a coward!" He spat on the ground to the left of him, pulling a note wrapped in a string knot from his coat pocket "You bring nothing but dishonor to your family Azo! You leave me no choice!" Azo inspecting the paper was puzzled trying to figure out what it was- his eyes went wide "Father wai-" " You are hereby disowned! We are no longer kin! Our last name has been stripped from you!"
Azo's hand shot up to stop him but it was too late "Father wait!" The sound of ripping paper fill the air followed by a quiet silence "BE GONE!" Azo's father snarled at him, misery filled the youngman as he stare at the ground while it slowly began transmuting into rage! A fate worse than death! The ultimate disrespect had been placed upon him! Unsheathing his blade he aimed it at his father, the vein on his forehead pulsing visibly as blood rushed through it. His father unsheathing his weapon as well assumed his fighting position that he was trained in years ago. "By my sword I swear I will prove you wrong! I will bring honor to the family name! I WILL DEFEAT AIS THE FLAME OF WAR AND BRING ABOUT THE GREAT PEACE! I WILL BECOME THE STRONGEST I COULD POSSIBLY BE!" Azo yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice carried through the surrounding trees into the ears of those who listened to hear taking his stance as well! Father and Son both paused for a moment reluctant to make the first move! Who would to be the one to strike their own kin? The first move would belong to Azo: The challenger, he would slice breaking wind aiming for his fathers head with intent to decapitate. His father tilted his blade upward to parry his son's blow perfectly, striking back with no hesitation slicing the surface skin level of Azo's abdomen, to which the younger male responded by striking with his left hand connecting with his fathers jaw! The Elder male stumbled back after the blow baffled at his arrogance! He fought with no honor! "Rebellious to the very end I see." Azo shed a single tear having to battle with his father there was no pain akin to this, this was indescribable. The Elder Male charged with his blade held over his head for an overhead strike! Azo would take the handle of his blade to the left side of his body to block his blow, his father was old and weaker now, his strikes were slow and easy to read. This was no fair fight in the slightest, perhaps he wanted to see how far his son would go for his vision.
Azo took a deep breath putting his feelings to the side he didn't want to draw this out longer than necessary! Azo decided to dominate the next string before his father could even give a return attack! Azo would steal his peace of mind using constant pressure, aggressively going for every finishing attack. Pushing his fathers blade back with all his force sending him stumbling backward, rushing in faking a stabbing motion, instead spinning and slicing his chest open, as the blade would leave his body he would rotate the other way slicing again, sheathing his weapon while his father fell to the ground! "Withdraw you cannot win." The amount of training hours the young male had put in paid off showing his father his skill in his craft "Do not make me kill you father." He spoke coldly his fists clenched as the elder man stood to his feet using his blade as a crutch to help him stand "Lose to a man whom chases false destiny? I could laugh!" Another humiliating moment for Azo "Finish what you start boy." Taking stance once again his father rushed him this time slashing overhead, sideways then downward toward his left torso then thrusting forward with the blade! the overhead was easy to dodge but the left side slash Azo countered but was pierced by his fathers cold blade taking a deep breath before it was ripped from his abdomen cutting his flesh on the way out. Enough was enough, Azo put his fists up to the old man's sword rushing again throwing a right punch! Azo's father ducked and slashed upward slicing near his ribcage! Azo taking advantage of the current positioning would knee his father in the face! Ignoring the burning in his muscles sending a right hand punch to his jaw, jumping back to kick him to the ground. The lust for battle taking him over straddling atop his father sending decisive left and right punches over, and over, and over, and over, beating the elder man senseless until he was covered in his own blood struggling to breath. Standing over his victim he reached down grabbing his old man by the neck lifting him off of the ground choking the little life that remained in his body "No one will stand in my path." Clenching his hand tighter around his fathers neck he watched as he struggled for air his hands trying to grasp for Azo's wrists but failing due to lack of energy and the sweat covering his finger tips.
Azo remembered all the moments of neglect, abuse and abandonment this man had put him through.. Also remembering whom he was before and how much he changed.. Had it been for the better? Here he was taking the life of his own father! Who would he be now?! What kind of man was he?! "Azo! That is enough!" The sound of a cane knocking against the ground made Azo's grip ease allowing the man to breath slightly "You have been given a gift and this is how you choose to give it to the world? By creating more negativity in this land that is blessed? Look at yourself boy! Your emotions have fueled your actions and created chaos! Look boy!" The shaman preached as Azo took a look at his surroundings, the blood on the ground and the blood that had splattered all over the nearby area, his clothing now drenched in his father's blood, and his sisters whom now had seen who he had become. "Azo stop! You don't have to do this!" Azo was not sure if his sister or the Shaman was correct anymore, he could only rely on his visions but this time he would listen. Dropping his father to the ground the elder man gasped for air rolling on the ground holding his neck, his sisters and mother rushed to his aid caring for him immediately except for his youngest sister whom came to him " Azo... You know what this means right?" He nodded unable to face her, unable to cope with what just transpired, and still he felt her warm embrace "If you feel this strongly about your visions then it's your duty to make them come true. Don't come back ok? They'll send the military for you if they see you..." She squeezed him tightly creating more pain inside him "I'll always love you big brother." She pulled away going to check on their father- no her father while Azo began to depart refusing to feel any regret for his actions.. He would manifest this goal no matter the cost... "We must go, there is no place for us here anymore ." Azo nodded in agreement turning his back with the Shaman heading into the Elechen forest "I will search every corner of the world for you!" The elder man spoke between quick short breaths struggling to sit up "I will destroy everything you build! I will kill everyone you cherish! And when you are at your lowest in this life I will spare you to endure your days in agony! AZO! DO YOU HEAR ME AZO!? YOU WILL FEEL MY WRATH BOY! I WILL RAIN DOWN WITH TH-" Stopping in his tracks the wind blew again this time stronger blowing his hair into the wind, the wind whistled as if whispering to the young man, his hand now gripping the handle of his blade hardening his heart, the problem with his father... Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap! Was that he was a man of his word.... Sprinting as fast as he could Azo leapt into the air unsheathing his sword in one swift motion "Drop Dead!" He raise the blade with his dominant hand as he would reach the peak of his jump also cutting his fathers head from his shoulders.
