"Evening mommy"i greeted my mother as I entered through the front door
Blv mah fret cause mk the time late and MI only reach home Dem time ya when MI have training
She was sitting inside the sofa rocking one of the twins to sleep on her lap
"Yah come from Dem time ya?"she asked as she looked up at me
"Did have training today Mommy"i responded as I untie my shoe lace
Mi do tracks and MI have training on Mondays,Tuesdays and Thursdays but never have no training today because coach wasn't at school so mi decide fi meet up wid MI boyfriend Jay and we chill fi awhile at his place after school
Caah mek she know that ...she we kill mi
"Well if you hungry some food in a the pot"
"Wah yuh cook Mommy?"i walked up to where she was sitting and bend a little to give my baby brother Demar who was fast asleep a kiss on his cheek
"White rice wid ackee and saltfish"she stood up as she rested Demar's head on her shoulder
"Ooh muh change of then go eat"i grabbed my school shoes and headed upstairs to my room
I changed off from my uniform as I stand inside the mirror admiring the hickeys Jay had given me on my left breast
If Mommy see Dem ya she kill MI rass
My phone started ringing and pulled me from my thoughts
I looked at the screen to see that it was Jay calling me on video

I answered and put the phone to my ears as I sat on my bed
"B yuh reach home aright?"
"Yes just no too long reach and say muh go bathe ya NW"
"So bring MI nuh bbz"
"Cho yuh nave nun fi go do likkle boy?"
"Yeah watch MI oman bathe"
I laughed a little
"B MI aguh bathe soon tlk to yuh back yer"
"Bring nuh bbz wah see MI oman"
Deh boy ya gwan like say him no just done see all a MI body

I responded before hanging up
I plugged in my phone and grabbed my towel as I headed to the bathroom

I was laying flat on my stomach doing my English A homework that I got in class today
Teacher give we a homework fi write an essay on 'why phones should be bond fim schools '...right now mi brain blank a swr dvn write first paragraph yet
"Amoya!"i heard my mother shouted for me from downstairs
"Yes mummy"i got up as I went down to see what was the problem
Not even MI homework MI can't do inna peace tpc
I sighed as I walked into her room where she was
