"But bhaiya, he seems good. I don't think he would be a bad person." I said, though I don't know him properly, but as much as I could understand, he didn't seems a bad person.

"Beta, you don't know anything about him and his family. But we know, that's why we are telling you to stay away from him." Abhishek said, trying his best to remain calm.

"Okay, if you say so." I agreed, though he don't seem a wrong person.

"Yeah.. and now finish these carrots, those you have separated" bhabhi said.

I hate carrots, like why do we even cook them. They taste so bad.

"No.. I am not eating these." I said and finished eating my food.

"No! You are not going anywhere, without finishing everything on your plate." Bhabhi said glaring at me.

She looks so cute when she is angry. I love to tease her.

"No.. I am not going to eat these." I said and stood up from my chair.

"And now I am going!!!" I said and sprinted from there to my room.

Author's POV

Nandini ran away from there giggling, and as usual Sitara looked at her, and thinking when will she start listening to her.

"Her and her hate with carrots. They don't taste that bad. Do they?" Krunal asked, picking up carrot from nandini's plate eating it, while playfully looking at Abhishek.

Abhishek glared back at him, and then turned his gaze to his wife, who was glaring back at him.

"What?" He asked

While Sitara just raised her eyebrows in question, and then actioned him to his plate.

Abhishek smiled sheepishly and stood up from his chair and said.

"Maa, papa, I have to help Nandini in her homework."

As soon as he said it, he too left from there within a second, defeating Sitara.

Just then krunal laughed, seeing antics of his siblings.

"Don't laugh much!" Sitara said and continued eating.

"Yes yes bhabhi sahiba" krunal said

"These brother sister will surely turn me into a mad person someday." Sitara mumbled, but still a soft smile lingered on her lips.

Two days later,

Nandini was going to her classroom, when she saw parikshit standing at the door of her class.

He saw her and passed her a smile, which she returned.

"I was just waiting for you only." He said

"Why were you waiting for me?" Nandini asked

"Ritesh sir was asking for you, he want a student for next week's debate competition. Some other teacher told him to ask you." He said

"But, I don't want to participate in any competition." She said

"Oh, it's okay, that absolutely fine. But, can you atleast come with me. Then you can deny him by yourself." He said

Nandini didn't want to continue this conversation any further. So she decided to go with him and directly deny the teacher.

"Okay fine, where is he?" She asked to which parikshit said to follow him.

Both of them walked together in complete silence. Nandini was just gazing here and there, while parikshit's eyes were fixed on her.

"Here in the activity room." He said opening the door.

Nandini nodded and both of them entered in the room, only to find it empty.

"Sir is not here." She said, looking around in the room. She wasn't feeling good already with parikshit, after whatever her brother had told him about his father.

"He might be late. We should wait for some time." He said while sitting on one of the chair.

"Are you sure, that sir will come." She asked While sitting across him, on another chair, to which he nodded.

Another few minutes passed in silence, when parikshit broke the silence and said.

"I think you know, that our families are business rivals."

Nandini saw him awkwardly, as it is a bit awkward to discuss family enmity this casually, while talking face to face.

"Umm.. yeah." She said nodding

"Actually, I know that your family don't like me and my family, hut there is no specific reason for this enmity. I mean, as much as I know, nothing happened that caused rivalry between our families." He said

"Being a business rival and having enmity is different. I hope you understand." He added

"I only know that my family can never be wrong." She said, because she knows that if there is any enmity, then there must be a reason for it.

Her family is very respecting and humble towards everyone. And something must have happened in past, which lead to enmity between Singhanias and Chauhans.

"So you are saying that my father has done wrong with your brother's company." He scoffed.

"No, I am not saying anything. And next time, don't interfere with me unnecessarily." She glared at him, and left the room.

While parikshit kept sitting there gazing at her retreating figure with a slight smirk lingering on his lips.

"You will be mine soon." He whispered and left from the room.
