Chapter 6 - The path to happines

"I've already told you, nothing would make me leave you and I meant it! Now, let's watch our film and try to have a little fun."

Becky wouldn't let go of Freen for anything. Throughout the film the lawyer was cuddled by the older girl who, for the very first time in a ling time, felt completely happy.

While they watched the movie, the caresses didn't stop and every now and then Becky left little kisses on Freen's neck, inhaling deliberately her perfume.

"God, I love your scent, princess!"

Sarocha smiled and melt.

"Really?"
"Yes. It inebriates me! You're so smeling, angel!"
"You know what? I love your scent too, little one!"
"That's good. It's a great start, huh?"
"I totaly agree! 🥰"

They continued watching the film, and each time the caresses became havier.

"Angel?"

No reply.

"You fell asleep, my beauty. I'm gonna put you roght here in bed."

💭 My God, you're so beautiful! You look like an angel.  How can someone have the courage to hurt you?

Becky didn't stop caressing Sarocha's face.

💭 What is happening to me? I have never been a delusional woman. What are you doing to me, Freen? I met you in a common day, the day I last expected. I didn't even want to go out. My inttention was to go straight home, but Saint convinced me to go with them. We were supposed to have just 2 beers... I wasn't thinking of love, indeed, I didn't believe it and much less I was looking for it. And suddenly you appeared breaking my walls and ideals. You simply became my light. How is this possible? Baby, I don't know how this can be happening, but I completely fell in love with you! This is crazy, I know, but I can't explain how did
this happen... it just... happened. Naturaly.

The thai/british girl thought all that with a silly smile on her face. Then Rebecca whispered to freen:

"I will protect you, my love! And Sam too! I promise. And I'm going to start doing that right now, my angel!"

Becky kissed Freen's cheek and whispered once again:

"I'll be right back, teerak. (Darling). Wait for me, baby girl."

So, the lawyer took her cell phone, left the room and called her father.

"Becky, princess,  are you okay?" Richie senior asked concerned.
"Hi dad. Yes, I'm great, but I need to talk to you... could come here to my house?"
"Becky, are you sure you're okay?"
"Yes, dad. Don't worry. It's just about work, butnit can't wait... I will explain it to you when you arrive..."
"Okay princess. I'm on my way."
"Thanks dad. One more thing: when you arrive, you should get in without knock, okay? Someone is sleeping here... Becky said it really happy.
"Okay sweetheart. I'll be there soon.
"Thanks dad."

A few minutes later, Richie arrived. Becky was already waiting for him. After greeting her father, Rebecca explained everything to him and asked for help with Heng, Nam and Billy's Green card.

"Of course I will help them! Jesus, this man is a monster! I wish I could face this motherfucker,  I would teach him how to treat a daughter. But you can rest assured. I'm going to talk to Stewart, my friend in charge of immigration. He is the one who says whether the person gets a Green card or not. Consider them american citizens, my daughter!"
"Thank you, dad!"
"My pleasure, BecBec. Now tell me, how do you feel about this girl?"

The small-eyed girl's expression immediately changed, becoming softer.

"Oh daddy... I believe we were faded to meet. I believe we are tethered together by the soul, that we have met many versions of each other in lives we've already lived. Because, how else you could have been a stranger but have never felt like one? How else could you feel so perfectly like home? How else could you explain this deep rooted feeling like we have already met? Who we are back then? Dad, our stories were meant to colide as they have in every lifetime. Because I'm sure we are two halves of one, and I know we're meant to be!"

Richie was in awe. The man couldn't help but smile.

"God... you're finally in love..."
"Yes dad. I'm madly in love with her! I don't know how this is possible, love at first sight... I mean, at the first beer shower. Hahahahaha."
"Yes Beck, this is possible. It's rare, but completely possible!"
"Yes dad. I just found it out..."
"Have you already told her about your feelings?"
"No. Not yet. I'm afraid I might scare her. She has gone through a lot..."
"Yes, you must be really patient. "
"I will be, dad. For her I'd do anything!"
"That's my girl! Be over patient  with her. Be over affectionated always, this is the most important thing. Some love, affection, support can do magic!"
"I know, dad. I never believed in love, but Freen... huh, I don't know how to explain it, but it's like I've been awakened... I had built some walls, but Freen made it tumbling down and the funniest thing is that they didn't even make a sound, giving me some hint of what was upcoming... it didn't give me any kind of warning. It just happened..."

Richie senior was barely holding on his happiness. His little girl had finally found love. And apparently she was really in love.

"That's great my dear. This is an amazing thing!"
"But dad, I'm so scared..."
"Of what, BecBec?"
"What if I'm not what she needs? What if I'm not enough? And the most important question: Am I going to scare her? I mean, we just met and she went through so much shit in her life... I'm afraid of scaring her."
"Hey, my daughter, don't worry. Just follow your heart, my little princess. Acording to what you told me, she feels something for you too. Of course, you must be cautious to make her feel secure. Be always attentious. Be attentive to her needs and expectations. Never be selfish, my daughter, on the contrary, be very generous and kind to her. Know how to prioritize the woman you love and just do whatever your heart demands. Be yourself, angel. Everything is gonna be okay."
"Thank you, dad."
"Don't tuank me, princess. Now tell me, when will you know my soon to be Grand daughter?"

Becky opened a big smile when Richie talked about Sam. Her biggest dream has always been to become a mother.

"I don't know yet dad. I hope it can be soon!" Said the lawyer softly.
"Make sure you'll treat this child with all the love, care and respect. And her mother too, my daughter."
"You can count on it, daddy!"
"Great! Now I gotta go. Your mother must be concerned, and you, come back to your girl. 😉"
"Thank you dad. For everything."
"It's my pleasure! Don't worry,  they already are american citizens. Just try to talk to them tomorrow. I will send you the list of documents I'm gonna need to run the process. The sooner we make them american citizens, the calmer we can be."
"Yes, you're right dad. Don't worry,  I'm gonna talk to freen early tomorrow and then I'll call you back."
"Okay. I will be waiting.  See you BecBec.  Good night."
"Good night daddy. I love you."
"I love you too, baby."

Richie left with his heart fullfiled with joy. Finally his little princess was discovering what love is.

The thai/british girl came back happily to her room. She was going to sleep with her beloved girl.
