Uncle Giu: oh great heavens!! She's back...
Yu Zhi: Mi Xia isn't opening her eyes Mr. Giu...
Uncle Giu: She's in the drug... it'll take some time to wear off...
Xia's mom: Oh...my dear... she's alr...she woke up after 8 days!!
Uncle Giu: Sorry sis...I didn't know the machine would have problems...
Xia's mom: it's alr...all that matters is that she's okay...
Slowly, Mi Xia began to stir. Her eyelids fluttered open, and her vision was slowly coming back into focus.
As she became conscious, she heard voices speaking around her. Words and phrases drifted in and out of her awareness, their meanings unclear. Everything felt hazy, and it took a moment for her to remember where she was, or even who she was.
Her mother's voice was familiar, and the sound of her own name stirred something within her. Then, as if a fog was lifting, the memory of the last few days came rushing back...Jiaxu...
She suddenly sat up, her heart pounding in her chest. The world spun around her, but she pushed it aside, her eyes wide and searching. The room swam before her eyes, bright and blurry, but she ignored it, her mind focused on just one thing...
Mi Xia: Jiaxu...where...where's Jiaxu...?
Her voice was weak and hoarse, the words coming out ragged and shaky, but the desperation in her tone was unmistakable. Her eyes darted around the room, desperately searching for any sign of him. Her mind was a whirlwind of confusion, her consciousness just having returned to her, but the realization of his absence hit her like a punch to the gut.
She looked around the room, her gaze darting from one face to another, hoping, praying that she would see him. But all she saw were concerned expressions staring back at her. Her mother's worried face, the doctor's serious eyes...but no Jiaxu.

As time passed, the effects of the drug slowly subsided, and Mi Xia began to feel more clear-headed. The haziness in her mind faded away, and the world around her became more focused.
She sat up, no longer feeling dizzy or disoriented, and she looked around the room with an expression of growing realization. The memories of her time in the sleep experiment room were vivid in her mind, yet distant as if they had happened to someone else.
Later, Mi Xia was taken home, her best friend, Yu Zhi sat beside her in the car...
Yu Zhi: I was so worried...after I woke up from the experiment...I saw u were still sleeping...u weren't awake...
Mi Xia: it's wasn't a dream...
Yu Zhi: and then-- huh? What do u mean?
Mi Xia: it wasn't a dream...it was a dimension....with no form.... that's why u could enter my so-thought "dream"....
Yu Zhi: u serious?
Mi Xia explains to Yu Zhi what has happened...and Yu Zhi's jaw dropped...
Yu Zhi: Wait so u did ur college there? While in reality, we're still teenagers?
Mi Xia nods, and tells her about Jiaxu...
Yu Zhi feels more in shock as she listens to what her best friend has been through...
Yu Zhi: woah...no doubt u were asking for him the moment u woke up...

Mi Xia now, sat in her room, her fingers fiddling in her pocket to pull out the note Jiaxu had given her before she left...
The note read:
Mi Xia... remember when before jumping off to die, u came to me, and told me that u were real, I wasn't...and u confessed to me... saying u fell for me...?
I never forgot that when I met u again...the truth was...it was the plot which made me be with Sang Zhi...but I fell for u...but we aren't meant to be...I love u, Mi Xia...more than u'll ever know...
I intend to give this to u, when we find a way to reach ur reality... don't forget me...please
~Jia XuTears crawled down Mi Xia's face, her eyes red, and her lips curving into a smile,
Though he was her imagination, she knew his love for her wasn't an imagination, because she never thought of him loving her back...she couldn't imagine it...Maybe...in another lifetime... he'd be hers, till then she'd live with his memories etched to her mind...

5 years later:
Mi Xia was now an adult, she's in university...
Her life was happy, but it felt like a part of her was lost...a part of her she left while she parted with Jiaxu...
This part, she recovered soon...she kept his request...He didn't want her to forget him...and that's why Mi Xia not only wanted to remember him herself but also make him memorable to anyone who learned about him...
With this desire in mind, Mi Xia picked up her pen and began to write...a book. The words flowed from her like a river, each sentence carrying a part of her heart and, of course, of Jia Xu.
She named that book:
