The now fourteen, Izuku Midoriya had just finished his morning training with the Kendo's, and was about to get a shower and into his uniform for class at Aldera middle, when he felt the strong aged hand of his master land on his shoulder, "Mido, my boy, you've really come a long way since we met. No longer are you a lump of coal, but a dazzling diamond. You make this old man proud."
Izuku chuckled, "Whatever you say Ojii-dono. Itsuka-san still makes me look like a novice all the time. She'll make a great master someday when you retire. You know, in another sixty years."
The old master scoffed and flicked his nose, "Don't get cheeky with me. These old bones can still fight with the best of them. I have another eighty years, minimum."
The duo laughed until they heard an annoyed snort, "Gramps, you need to rest. Your doctor is already going to be mad I let you teach a third class this week. Go rest, now." Itsuka turned to Izuku next, "And you, don't get overconfident. Just because I let you teach a few beginner classes doesn't mean you're a master. Now go get cleaned up, or I'll throw you into that locker room."
Both men paled, but then shared a look and bowed deeply, "Yes, Master Suka." Itsuka blushed, but Izuku had already dashed away while laughing.
The old man just smiled at the two, "Ah, young love. Isn't it grand?"
Itsuka rolled her eyes, "Zuku and I aren't like that. He's like a little brother, and it's not my fault he's the only one who can keep up with me." Only seeing the smile widen on the old man's face, Itsuka stomped away while grumbling, "Stupid old man. Stupid emerald head..."
Fifteen minutes later, Izuku exited the locker room in his uniform. Over the years, Izuku had put on a healthy amount of muscle, and had let his green curly hair grow out a bit, so that he now sported a small ponytail like his master, and Itsuka did. In one hand Izuku had his school bag, while on his back was his personal black training sword, a gift from his mom and Master when he took over the swordsmanship classes from his master the year before. Even if there weren't many who took the time to learn it, Izuku still took pride in his position, and never went anywhere without his weapon.
On his way to school Izuku ran into Reiko Yanagi, a bookish and pale girl that had joined his class about six months ago. She was quiet, with pale gray hair, and a generally pale complexion, but they had bonded over their love of literature, and despite being usually quiet the girl could be occasionally sassy, something Izuku appreciated. Just before they reached the building, Izuku took a few steps away from Yanagi, and a blonde figure suddenly came rocketing toward Izuku screaming, "DIE!"
With practiced ease, Izuku caught the blonde's explosive attack, and slammed him back first into the ground. After a second the blond used a pair of small explosions to get back to his feet just as his fist started to drip with explosive sweat. Just before the explosive punch could collide with Izuku's face, the blond felt a fist slam into his gut. Followed by its brother landing a solid uppercut to his chin, finally knocking the blond out.
A few seconds later a paper with big red letters started to float over the blonde's head, and Izuku snorted. "Really, Rei? When did you make up a K.O. page for him?" The pale girl just smirked and started digging in her bag for a specific notebook. Izuku sighed, "What's the tally anyway?" After a moment, Reiko found what she was looking for, and after a moment to add a new mark she flipped it around to show a score tally. Izuku chuckled, "Sixty-eight and zero? Maybe I should throw one just so he doesn't get too demoralized."
"THE FUCK YOU WILL SHITTY DEKU! I'LL BEAT YOU ON MY OWN, AND FINALLY PROVE I'M SUPERIOR," roared the blond as he finally started coming around.
Izuku reached down and helped the blond up, "Don't you ever get tired, Katsuki?"
