With each step he takes, Muzammil is plagued by visions of the moments where everything could have been different. He remembers the first time he manipulated Muneeb, roping him into his schemes. Together, they had risen quickly, feeding off each other’s ambition and deceit. But now, with Muneeb imprisoned and Muzammil destitute, he sees the futility of it all. The power they wielded was fleeting, built on lies that could never stand the test of time. In his flashbacks, Muzammil can’t help but wonder if Muneeb, too, is haunted by the memories of their betrayal.
