panick attack.

The next few days were just normal, Taehyung kind of ignored jimin because he was embarrassed about that night.. and jimin noticed it.. it's not like they were best of buddies but still, aren't they supposed to be friends now? But Taehyung was avoiding him like that. And low key jimin didn't like it. He wanted Taehyung to talk to him. Even about Bo-gum as well. He wished Taehyung would have opened up about this himself before he found out.

Taehyung sometimes wanted to ask about the night he was drunk.. what did he do? What did he say? Did jimin saw anything? Did jimin now know about Bo-gum? Maybe not.. because who would tell him? But what if jimin asks someone and they tell him everything?
Taehyung hates to discuss his past with anyone.. anyone means anyone.. and he hates that sympathetic look on everyone's face when they hear about how everything ended.. so he never talks about it...

One night, Taehyung was sitting on his bed reading a book.. recently he has adapted the habit of reading.. jimin decided to speak to him now.. he has always been impatient and it's been 4 Days since he got to know about Bo-gum. He wanted to ask Taehyung as well .. he knocked on the door and Taehyung looked up.. he immediately looked away seeing jimin on the door.

"What is it?" Taehyung asked in a cold voice

"Can i come in?" Jimin asked.. and Taehyung exhaled deeply before nodding.. and jimin walked in..

There was a moment of silence between them..

"You have a lot of questions, right?" Taehyung asked suddenly and jimin looked at him for a few seconds before nodding

"That night when you got drunk..."

"I didn't know when i got inside your room.. " Taehyung sighed "i usually go there when i get drunk or I'm disturbed" Taehyung explained

"Ohh.. was the room used to belong to..... Bo-gum?" Jimin asked nervously

Taehyung looked at him a bit surprised

"You.. W-Who... Who told you about him?" Taehyung asked

Jimin wasn't sure if he should take Jungkook's name or not. What if Taehyung gets angry with jungkook for this? So decided not to say that

"You were taking that name a lot that night..so...." Jimin trailed down and Taehyung nodded understandingly

"Yes.. that room is where Bo-gum and i used to live before he..."

"Before he what? What happened to him?" Jimin asked .. pretending not to know about Bo-gum

Taehyung looked at him..he stayed silent for a long time before he started speaking..

"Maybe i should have told you earlier about Bo-gum hyung.. but this marriage meant nothing to me so i didn't think it will be necessary for you to know" Taehyung said and it kind of stung for some unknown reason.. but jimin didn't show it .. he continued to listen everything Taehyung was saying..

"Bo-gum hyung was my senior in college. My first love.. the time when i used to love.. the only person I'll ever love.." Taehyung continued and jimin listened to everything.. he noticed how his eyes were gentle when he was talking about Bo-gum.. he must be really special to him..

The tenderness on his face was something jimin has never seen before. But it was there as Taehyung continued to share his moments with Bo-gum.. Taehyung felt free for the first time sharing this with someone he wasn't close to.. jimin has that aura maybe that will make you feel comfortable around himself for you to open up..

Otherwise how would you explain why Taehyung shared everything with jimin but not with anyone else so easily? As jimin continue to listen, he noticed how his facial expression changed.. his soft look turned into horror as he mentioned that car accident.. Taehyung's breathing gets heavier and his voice was shaky when he was talking about that incident..

And suddenly Taehyung started blaming himself for his death.. the tears he was holding back fell like waterfall.. Taehyung Started shaking and it took jimin a moment before he realised what was happening..

Taehyung was having a panic attack..

Jimin gasped in fear .. how to calm him down..he instinctively went to his side and pulled Taehyung close to him and hugged him.. not too tightly.. he hugged him from behind and started Caressing his biceps asking him to take deep breaths.. Taehyung tried to and his hand clutched on jimin's hand as he closed his eyes.. and a few moments he turned around and hugged jimin.. jimin obviously didn't stopped him..

Taehyung wrapped his arms around jimin's waist and pulled him closer while his face was snuggled in jimin's neck.. the scent from jimin's body seems to calm him down.. his fragrance seems to have a comfort in it as Taehyung closed his eyes.. taking breaths in his scent.. while jimin kept caressing his back .. jimin made a mental note of not talking about Bo-gum ever again..

They stayed in that position for some time, none of them moved an inch.. a pair of eyes were looking at them.. Mrs.kim , who was there to call Taehyung for dinner but stopped when he saw jimin with Taehyung.. she was about to leave but then heard their conversation.. it was about Bo-gum.. her heart ached with pain and guilt..

She saw everything..and a small glimpse of hope can be seen in her eyes when she saw jimin comforting Taehyung and Taehyung opening up to jimin.. hugging him for support.. maybe..just maybe this time her son won't get hurt.. she looked upward and closed her eyes
"God, please don't punish my son for my mistake anymore.. please give him the happiness he deserves.. and i know jimin can be the source of it" she whispered and then took a last look before leaving.. they need time before facing everyone
