"Have you, fallen in love with me or something?" This catches her off guard, for the first time.

Immediately making a face,"Ew, never!" She says, covering herself wholly with the duvet.

Or maybe i am. They thought. How silly of them to be thinking like that, while having a soft smile on.

After another day of gathering insights and reports, with playful banters now and then, they were back in the mansion by the evening.

"I did more than half of the work, why are you taking so long?" An annoyed taehyung whines, standing behind jungkook who was sitting on one of the chairs around the dining table while his laptop was on the table.

"Dont even try, im the boss here so I've to correct all your mistake, and it takes time." He replies but was majorly focused on the laptop.

Taehyung rolls her eyes,"As if, you just want to act superior" she approaches the fridge, fetching a bananamilk bottle, "Because you hate-" while trying to open the lid, she accidentally spills a little amount of milkshake on the floor,"-the fact that im literally so perfect."

Jungkook raises his brow, standing up, "And what exc-" his words were cut off when taehyung, who was about to approach him briskly slips on the spilled milkshake, loosing balance amd falling over him.

Both of them falling on the hard floor, "Arghg" Jungkook groans as taehyung lies above him.

Her head hitting his chin just a little bit harder, as it rested on jungkook's biceps and her body laid half on jungkook, half on floor.

Taehyung groans, while crying in pain.

"Idiot!" Jungkook brings his palm behind his head, caressing the pained area while another hand instinctively kept taehyung in place.

"Im hurt too, okay!" Taehyung yells back, still in pain.

Jungkook clicks his tongue, hissing as he replies with,"Be thankful that i prevented your useless skull from striking and breaking, idiot!"

"Stop calling me idiot, you dumb cow!" Taehyung yells in frustration, though she wanted to get away, she can feel the shoot of pain in different places and she's sure she doesn't even wanna move.

Offended,"EXCUSE ME?" Jungkook yells.

"Not excused, you may shut up!" And despite those bitter words being thrown at eachother, they made little to no effort to move. Jungkook's hand stayed on taehyung's waist and taehyung's hand laid very close to jungkook's head, lifting and not letting his head completely touch the floor even though he had his own hands behind them.

"Get off" Jungkook says after a moment, to which taehyung doesn't respond at all, untill, "The floor was really hard" she says instead.

Jungkook snorts,"Being clumsy surely did a lot, you even dragged me into your mess."

Taehyung doesn't respond, though jungkook couldn't see, she pouts, admitting it actually was her fault.

"Im sorry" tae mumbles.

Jungkook rolls his eyes before his smile spread onto his lips without his permission. Jungkook could totally make out her face from that tone.

"Idiot"

He says before sitting up while taehyung made a small effort until, she was carried on air,two hands securely holding her by knees and back as she instinctively put her hands around his shoulder for support.

And just like jungkook imagined,  taehyung's face was morphed onto an annoyed one, brows knitted but lips pouting ever so subtly.

The smile refused to stay put, he smiled, looking ahead.

Taehyung surely noticed the action but chose to not voice it out.

Few moments later, she was safely put on her bed,"Dont wander around and just sleep. We're heading home tomorrow." With that he walks away.

Waking up next morning was not a little bit close to what she wanted. She was enjoying her time flying and watching the butterflies in a flower garden. The dream was just so heavenly, the feeling of laying onto someone's arms was so real, is so real.

She opens her eyes briskly, feeling a hand under her head and one over her waist. Weird enough, she was even hugging..him.

"AAH" She shouts, pushing him by his chest but it had little to no effect.

She hears him groaning, seemingly still asleep as now both his arms cage her, safe and securely.

"Ay mr.dumb cow!" She shakes him by shoulder but of no use, huffing she frowns at him when she no longer wanted to pretend.

Sighing, she lets her frown go away as she stared at him, his calm face, his hair was messy but he still looked so perfect. Damn,  how does he mange to look so effortlessly handsome?

She feels the hand around her tightening then resting again, this reminds her just why was she so happy in her dream.

The warmth radiating was same as the one she felt in her dreams, then and there, she knew where this was going. She doesn't want to clarify it, it's just an act, it's just for some moments.

She tries to get out of the inviting warm embrace but it just tightens more, "Done staring?" Jungkook's raspy, morning voice is heard.

Taehyung almost felt goosebumps, as she plays fool,"What?"

"Playing fool i see." He opens his eyes gradually, "or maybe not, because you actually are a fool"

Meanwhile, taehyung gasps at the insult, "EXCUSE ME?"

Jungkook lets go of taehyung, bringing his hands to him and now using it to fix his hair as he kept laying.

"Not excused. You may shut up"

Taehyung lets his mouth agape so wide, "Are you planning to eat flies for breakfast?"

Taehyung closes her mouth, swalling the little bit of embarrassement as she sees him finally getting off the bed.

"And hey! What the heck were you doing in my room, and in my bed huh?"

Jungkook looks at het with a raised eyebrow, "Like you were not the one who weeped and called me out,literally begging me to not leave." That leaves taehyung silent, Sh!t !.

"O-oh" taehyung zones out in thoughts, not catching the knowing smile of jungkook.

Okay. Its just that jungkook couldn't sleep and had decided to checkup on taehyung, eventually and unintentionally falling asleep beside her. It was half accident but taehyung doesn't need to know.
