!roommate AU! Trainer brings home a "cat"(opossum) to y/n

the actual fic now :3 (very short btw)

It's just an average day; you're sitting on the couch playing your favorite game, "Magikarp Jump Trainer."

You hear the door creak open; curse those fucking creaky door hinges.

It turns out Trainer is home, and... what is that in their jacket?

"You're home earlier than usual." You spoke up about the unusual timing of their arrival.

"Y/N, I found a cat. Can we keep him?" Trainer pulls out a fuzzy silver opossom; at least it isn't completely rabid.

"Trainer... dear sweet summer child... thats a fucking opossom..." You sighed and face-palmed; they're too innocent to understand that's a wild animal, not a cat.

"Oh!" they looked down at the fuzzy little creature, which looks like it may or may not have eaten a mariwana plant.

"Can we still keep it?" They questioned that they're very well-headed, but that's fine, and sometimes

"NO," you scolded, but not rudely, just in a way you'd tell a child to not touch your phone.

"Man..." They looked down before walking out of the door and putting the fuzzy little thing back where he found it.
