Yuri looked at Atlus with tears, "I-I'm sorry..." she had wide eyes, "Why did you leave?" Atlus could hardly whisper. "I couldn't defend myself from that assassin... so I ran away! I ran Away so I could train and defend myself!" Yuri sobbed. "I'm sorry..." "It's...ok, to be honest I ran too." Yuri looked at her in dismay, "Y-You ran? But why?" she sighed, "Ranked fighting isn't for me... I almost died Yuri..." she looked down, Yuri sighed, "it was because of me...I couldn't defend myself..." Atlus sighed. "Let's forget that... what do we do now? I want to go back for my mate.... but I can't..." Yuri looked at the entrance, her sleek white fur gleaming in the moonlight, she looked like a ghost. "I... we tell Zero, come Atlus, I'll show you the cave, we leave in the morning." Atlus followed her, "hey, Yuri? What was that creature you killed?" Yuri's tail drooped, "They're known as Shadow-wolves... They are basically hunters that are never satisfied... they feed on cats with sun marks... Us. but...We only must survive for a month, then our mark will disappear." "Alright..."
Yuri showed Atlus around the cave and she made a bed from moss and sticks, "I saw a bird's nest once, I wanted to copy it and make it more comfortable." Yuri looked at the nest, "Good idea." She made one too. Soon enough Atlus fell asleep. She was worried about Zero, what would he think? She ran away and so did Yuri... but maybe he will understand... he is her mate after all.
