On the control panel, there was a button labeled "Summon." Johnny approached Kevin and explained, "This will send a small ping to all our allies. Only they'll know, and they can arrive undetected."

Without a second thought, Kevin pressed the button. Now, all they had to do was wait. Within an hour, their allies arrived—some familiar faces, others new. Kevin stood up on a small stage and looked out at the gathered group before speaking, ready to rally them for the mission ahead.

"Thank you all for coming," Kevin began, his voice steady but filled with emotion. "I'm Kevin Afton, son of Jen and William Afton. For those of you who don't know them, they led this city to victory ten years ago. Now, they've been captured and are being used to fuel these awful robots. The man behind the mask is Tyson, and we believe this is an act of revenge. I'm asking for your help, your strength, and your support." Many of the veterans who fought alongside his parents nodded in agreement, ready to stand with him. The newer members, mostly children of those veterans, looked nervous but reassured by Kevin's leadership, they nodded in approval as well.

The group was soon led to the sleeping quarters. Unlike before, where members had specific roles like maintenance or armor, this time it was all hands-on deck. There were no separate teams; everyone was part of a unified group, with roommates paired by gender and age unless someone opted for non-combat duties.

After a long day, Kevin retreated to his leadership room, sinking onto the bed. He pulled out his phone and scrolled through photos of him and his parents, remembering happier times. Tears welled up as guilt gnawed at him—he blamed himself for not riding with them that morning. With a heavy sigh, he reached for a book Kayla had given him. According to her, it was something his father had requested be given to Kevin if anything happened. Inside the book were two keys. Confused at first, Kevin quickly realized their significance—these were the keys to their parents' machines. His mother, always sneaky and prepared, must have known they would fall into his hands when needed.

Kevin put one key on a chain around his neck, then left the room. He made his way to his sister Alexandra's room and handed her the other key. He looked at her seriously, then spoke.

"Alexandra, these are the keys that can free our parents," Kevin said softly, handing her the key. "Keep this around your neck, okay? I'm sorry you got dragged into this. I know you're only 11, but if you want, you can help me rescue them." His heart warmed when she nodded in agreement, her determination clear. Kevin pulled her into a tight hug, the love and protective instinct he felt for his sister stronger than ever. Though they weren't biologically related, to him, she was family in every sense that mattered. She was the one person who reminded him of both their parents, a living blend of the two. He kissed her forehead and whispered goodbye before heading back to his room, feeling the weight of responsibility pressing down on him.

The next morning came quickly—it was the first day of training. Katie and Johnny, with help from Kayla, had put together a solid training plan, and Kevin was now holding the game plan in his hands. After gathering everyone's attention with a cough, he began to address the group.

"Based on our research and what Kayla has told us," Kevin started, "to defeat the robots, we need to cut off their power supply. Once that's destroyed, we can smash them with bars or bats, and then we confront Tyson. The power supply is my parents—Jen and William. They're being used to power the robots. Our priority is to free them. Once we do, we'll bring them back here and hand them over to our medical team for care."

As Kevin spoke with confidence and focus, Johnny couldn't help but think to himself, Jen, you raised a wonderful boy.
