CHAPTER TWO

Building a legacy for my family has always been something on my mind. My family is very important in my life. I would do anything to see them happy. My parents recently got divorced and my Mom has been working trying to forget everything but I know deep down she still loves my father. I have a little sister Emily she's 14 years old. I never had a close relationship with my father after the divorce he took off and went to live in the city. I remember one day I overheard my Mom talking to grandma about how she suspected that my father was cheating on her but Grandma told her she might be overthinking things but look at what happened. My Mom's guts were telling her the truth. I'm a successful 27-year-old businessman but I fail to do one thing in this life.

I have everything I need but I'm lonely. I have not met a man that would make me feel butterflies. A man that will awaken things in my body. My sexuality is not a problem in my family. They knew this while I was in elementary school. I've had hookups here and there but it's a once-off thing. I glance around the club it's fully packed. I remember buying this club from Mario it was not like this. I had to start renovations, cleaning, and buying new furniture. I'm proud of owning this club. It has made it to the top of the "most expensive clubs" category. My people know how to throw an amazing party. The DJ is always killing it.

Why is the owner of this club working in the bar area and not in his office? Well to answer that. I love making people dance, getting drunk, and making them drink is my favorite part. I just stand here and wait for an order then work my charm on these glasses and bottle of champagnes. I have a manager when I'm not around Harper Santos she is my friend and runs this place like it's hers. Our friendship is very strong we went to the same school and we never left Riverdale. It's our home. I don't imagine myself leaving this place. There's life here. Tomorrow I have to go watch my sister's game she plays hockey. I glance at Harper as she walks towards where I am. She danced a little to the music I burst out laughing. The song playing is Daddy Yankee's - Limbo and people are going crazy some are screaming.

"You hear that, that is how you run a club". She yells. I laugh nodding.

"The beautiful people I love your energy tonight, so our playlist tonight is a Reggaeton mix, so fix those moves it's going to be a long night gracias". The DJ announced making people roar loud as he also hit play we hear Subeme la Radio by Enrique Iglesias loud. I widen my eyes in disbelief.

"Where did you get this guy Harper? Who the hell is he to play my favorite songs". I'm in awe. Harper is laughing hard.

"The poster for tonight clearly said we want a DJ who knows Reggaeton music so he did his research". I chuckled shaking my head. I'm impressed I did not even look at the poster.

"He is getting pretty big pay tonight I can tell by the look on your face". I nod amused by hearing my favorite music in my Club.

A waitress walks to the stall.

"One sex on the beach and two Pina colada". I nod as she walks to clean other tables. I quickly work my magic and suddenly I hear Harper cussing next to me.

"Holy shit". I shot her a look she had her eyes widened glancing at the entrance. I turned to look at the entrance and I gasped seeing a guy walking inside......wait he is a guy I know that,'xxfucx but his dress code is different. He is wearing baggy jeans which look perfect on him with a white crop top. He did something with his hair. He has white boots on. He looks around nervously and a waiter walks to him.

"Oh my God. He is so handsome. Look at his waist I'm jealous". I swallow hard looking at his waist how would my hands feel touching him there? I shake my head and signal the waitress to come take the order. The guy walks to us nervously he has a faint smile on his face. Everyone is simply looking at him. He finally makes it and sits down.
