"Are you blind!?" Miss Angelina shouted from behind when a cup of coffee spilled on her white silk dress. Everybody was stunned.
I could feel the nervousness of everyone's eyes and the feeling of being punished overnight with overloaded documents that Angelina will give and ofcourse that is everyone's nightmare, including me.
Who could have thought of it?
That Angelina was the suspect who killed my parents 6 years ago, she's the Sophia who scared the soul of me and obiliged me to marry her when I am well-grown up.
"Cathy, come with me. Now!" she hissed.
Although, she was the so called suspect, I still could not believe it. Miss Angie might frightened everyone's soul but on the other hand, she is a good person.
But I do not hate her, on the contrary, I guess I had love her deeper than before. I don't know what's gotten into me that made my action and behavior turn to be like this.
Many things had happened these past couple of weeks, Angelina and I distant ourselves. She would not even dare to talk to me as if she's disgusted, well, maybe she is.
But what something to disgust? I thought she love me? or It's just me expecting something unreal? I guess, clarifying this situation would help.
My phone vibrate that took me back to my senses. I grabbed it through my pocket and saw Kzhea's message pop up in my notification.
"Lets bond Kelly, remember the beach resort where Sandra owned? We'll be waiting overnight to you with dad."
Really, it's been two years since we came in that beach resort where we met everyone and did the camp fire, now, I'll be going there for important matter.
"Kelly?"
"Kelly, Miss Angelina wants to talk with you," Cathy showed in front of me that made my soul startled. I was taken aback from my sense again because of Cathy's words. I roamed my gaze to the surrounding, my eyes were confused.
Why I am the only one still standing in the coffee area when everyone is on their workplace? Jeez, my brain was too focused to Miss Angelina.
"You think a lot," Cathy whispered through my ears and smile at me. I replied with her sweet smile. I still remember her, when I first enter this company, she was the first co-worker who welcome and respect me although I was only an intern.
Usually, intern here are being degraded by some workers so Miss Angelina disciplined themselves a lot and thanks to Cathy, I don't feel being left out.
"Thankyou Cath," I whispered that confuses herself and smiled sweetly again before I could stepped in Miss Angelina's office, leaving Cathy alone with confusion plastering on her face because of what I said, I turned my head and wave from behind, she just shook his head and couldn't believe what I did.
She might be thinking ; "What's gotten into that woman?"
As I opened the door, I saw Chelsea and Gwen standing beside Miss Angelina and Mr. Jolie, they respect and took care of their bossy boss a lot. It made me happy, thinking about that, there's no way they gonna betrayed the person who gave their the bestest of their life especially Miss Angie.
The table with laptop, ipad, and stairs of overloaded documents mediates between Miss Angelina and Mr. Jolie, they were sitting quitely and look at me with confusion on their faces when I handed them my envelope and Mr. Jolie abruptly accepted it. Supposedly, Miss Angelina must be the one to accept it.
I smiled gracefully, Miss Angelina just stares at me blankly as if my presence are not inside her office but I can still figure out the curiosity of her eyes when she landed her looks to the envelope when Mr. Jolie opened it.
"You are leaving?" Mr. Jolie asked, everyone look at me, everyone.
"Why?" Chelsea and Gwen simultaneously questioned me.
I look at Miss Angelina's face, It was ridiculous to see her started to gave an expression like that, it is ridiculously painful.
Why did I even came here at the very first place? It supoosed to be Mister Jolie's company not hers. Now, I am feeling this painful beset in my chest, I could imagine and feel the knife stabbed in my heart.
"Runaway again? Yare permitted to leave," she uttered.
She didn't even flinch and did not even cared, she just smiled, how come? Was she wants me to do the first move of permission that much that leaving this company made her happy?
A loud bang from behind startled all of us, Mr. Wrecker suddenly showed up
" Why did you hide this pregnancy test Angelina?" He yell out that everyone, even the people outside could hear him.
Everyone in the room look at us back and forth, I flinched and my shoulder suddenly fell down that I could suddenly feel the vulnerability of my body when Mr. Wrecker said those words, I could feel the different types of knives engraved inside my chest after desperetely stabbed my heart and whole body with the prick of it sharpness.
My mouth hung up and I could feel the chill inside my soul, it's cold, I could not stand here any longer. My body started to tremble uncontrollably that slowly losing my balance, the agony of my heart wanted to scream deliberately. Why?
I want to talk but I can't. Jeez, from the time being of being runaway girl, she got married, I'm sure they did lot of stuffs privately!
I bowed down my head and bite my lower lips to stop my tears from falling, I turned around from them and close the door of Miss Angelina's office and run to the comfort room. I did not realize, Chelsea was following me towards the comfort room.
"Hey, don't be too hard on yourself. I mean... yeah — hearing those words hurts but you must be strong. You knew the path you entered so I'm sure you also knew the path of leaving and the outcome," she said while my massaging my back.
"She killed my family and even betrayed me for the second time, she's cruel," I respond pulling back my strength and stopping my tears to fell down over and over again.
"It was not Angelina, It was Mr. Wrecker, she was the one who killed your parents 6 years ago Kelly and Mr. Wrecker obliged Angelina to marry him to coverup his past mistakes," Chelsea affirmed.
"I mean — don't distance yourself to Miss Angelina and keep running away while she is being so obssessed following your spirit wherever you go. Talk to her and she'll tell you everything," she added that made my attention focus on her with swollen confused eyes.
"What do you mean, run away and distance? She was the one who is avoiding me"
"She been finding your soul, because the freaking sake where are you for the past couple of weeks!? She wants you to do the first move Kelly! What do you mean that Miss Angelina is being distant? Can't you even figure out, she was in sulk and when she heared you are leaving, her face says it all, the pain she been feeling could not compare what you been feeling right now Kelly. Omy, open your eyes Kelly! Why won't you fight for your beloved!?"
"Why would I fight! There is nothing to fight with!"
"During the couple of weeks, she filed divorcement to Mr. Wrecker, I mean Miss Angelina is unmarried and single right now and Mr. Wrecker was recklessly trying to pull her back by creating shame scene. Believe me, she loves you more than anything that she is willing to give up everything on her for the sake of both of you. Miss Angelina is unpredictable especially in love."
