Personality:

Vegeta is proud, intense, and fiercely competitive, carrying the weight of being the prince of the Saiyan race. Though initially driven by a desire for power and domination, Vegeta's character evolves as he learns the importance of teamwork and family. His pride often conflicts with his emotions, especially when it comes to his growing bond with Satomi. Vegeta hides his deeper feelings behind a cold, often aloof exterior but is ultimately caring and protective of those he loves.

Abilities:

As a Saiyan warrior, Vegeta is naturally powerful and highly skilled in martial arts. He possesses several iconic abilities and transformations:

Saiyan Physiology

Vegeta's strength, speed, and endurance are far beyond that of a normal human. His Saiyan heritage also grants him the ability to grow stronger after recovering from injuries or near-death experiences, referred to as Zenkai Boost.

Ki Manipulation

Like most Saiyans, Vegeta can manipulate and project Ki energy for a variety of uses, including energy blasts, flight, and energy shields. He uses his energy both offensively and defensively.

Galick Gun

One of Vegeta's signature moves, this is a powerful energy blast fired with both hands, strong enough to destroy planets if unleashed at full power.

Big Bang Attack

Vegeta focuses a large amount of energy into a single point before releasing it in a massive explosion. It's a destructive, concentrated blast that has devastating results.

Final Flash

A powerful, large-scale attack where Vegeta gathers energy in his hands, releasing it in an intense beam of energy capable of annihilating nearly anything in its path.

Super Saiyan Transformations

Vegeta can transform into various Super Saiyan forms, each drastically increasing his power and speed. He can achieve Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, and later, Super Saiyan Blue.

Super Saiyan: A golden transformation that increases Vegeta's overall power many times over.

Super Saiyan Blue: A form that combines the power of a Super Saiyan with the control of God Ki, giving Vegeta a blue aura and much greater strength and precision.

Oozaru

When exposed to a full moon or artificial moonlight, Vegeta can transform into a massive Great Ape, increasing his power tenfold. However, this form requires his Saiyan tail, which was cut off in the original Dragon Ball Z series. Background:

Born as the prince of the fallen Saiyan race, Vegeta initially served under Frieza as a ruthless and ambitious warrior. After arriving on Earth to fight Goku and the Z Fighters, his goals shifted from conquering worlds to surpassing Goku in power. Over time, Vegeta developed strong bonds with the Z Fighters, especially Satomi Gojo. Though his pride as a Saiyan prince remains intact, his motivations broaden, and he begins to fight for more than just his strength, including his family and loved ones.

Love Interest:

Satomi Gojo – Vegeta's relationship with Satomi starts rocky, as their strong personalities and immense power create tension. However, they develop a mutual respect for one another's strength, which gradually deepens into a romantic bond. Vegeta is drawn to Satomi's cool-headedness in battle, her unwavering confidence, and her loyalty to those she cares about. They share a bond forged through countless battles and intense moments of vulnerability.

Dragon Ball Universe Relationships:

Goku: Vegeta's eternal rival. While they started as enemies, their rivalry has evolved into a complicated friendship. Vegeta is constantly pushing himself to surpass Goku, both in power and spirit. Though Vegeta would never admit it outright, he respects Goku for his strength and tenacity.

Bulma: In this AU, Vegeta's relationship with Bulma remains strong as close friends and allies. Vegeta respects her intelligence and technological prowess, frequently relying on her to provide solutions in battles. However, his romantic attention is entirely focused on Satomi.

Piccolo: Vegeta respects Piccolo as a warrior, though they don't interact much on a personal level. Piccolo appreciates Vegeta's growth over the years, but Vegeta's pride keeps their relationship professional.

Chi-Chi: Vegeta is wary of Chi-Chi's strict demeanor and occasional disapproval of Goku's fighting lifestyle. He's less involved with her but maintains a civil relationship, especially after Satomi helps bridge the gap between them.

Krillin: While Vegeta initially looked down on Krillin for being weaker, over time, he grew to respect Krillin's courage and loyalty to his friends. Krillin, in turn, admires Vegeta's growth as a person, especially after he starts to value friendship and family.

Yamcha: Yamcha and Vegeta often butt heads, especially given Yamcha's past interest in Bulma. Though Vegeta sees Yamcha as weak, he acknowledges his persistence and humor, tolerating his presence more after the arrival of Satomi.

Tien: Vegeta and Tien share a mutual respect as fellow warriors. Though their personalities don't always align, Vegeta appreciates Tien's discipline and determination. They occasionally train together, pushing each other to new limits.

Story Role:

Vegeta is a key player in this AU story, both as a powerful warrior and as Satomi's romantic partner. His growth as a character is central to the story's development, transitioning from a lone fighter to someone who values teamwork, relationships, and protecting the people he cares about. His rivalry with Goku remains a defining feature, but his relationship with Satomi helps him open up emotionally and find a deeper purpose beyond battle.
