THE BILLIONAIRE'S
SECRET
ACCOUNTANT
BY CARRIE CLARK
Chapter 1
As darkness fell, everyone was having a great time. The party was the event of the year. There are several people here this year. Terri really just didn't want to be heard. "Hey Terri, why aren't you out there dancing," Sid asked. "Being hear is not what I wanted to do tonight," said Terri. "Then why did you come then."
"I came here 'cause Ernie needed a date." "You do know that this place belongs to Mr. Andrew Morgan." "I don't care, I was asked to come." The music was getting very loud. So I thought, I need to get some fresh air and to get away from all this. Going outside on the deck was a good idea. I decided to take a walk on the beach.
I hadn't gone very far before I spotted someone already sitting on the beach. As I got closer, I saw it was a man and he looked so unhappy. I moved in a little closer and saw that he was crying. "Hey, are you ok?" "What? Are you following me?" "No! I just came out here to get some fresh air and saw you just sitting here and wondered if you are ok. But since I see you don't want company, I will be on my way." "Wait, I'm sorry, it's just my girlfriend decided to cheat on me with this scumbag."
Chapter 2
"Wow, it seems we have something in common." "Would you like to talk about it?" "No, I would like to talk about anything else." "Ok, what you want to talk about." "So who are you?" "Well my name is Terri, what's yours?" " My name is Andy. So you don't know who I am." She said. "Nope, should I know you?" "I guess not. How about we take a walk on the beach." "Sure. So Andy what do you do for a living." " I'm in management. what about you?" "I'm in accounting."
As we walk the beach, the sun is setting and it's such a beautiful sight. Terri said. "I have never seen a more beautiful sight than this. I don't get to enjoy such wonders." "May I ask why?" He asked. "When I travel for my job, I don't get out and enjoy the sights." "So you travel a lot." "Yes!." "I have to leave in the morning for my next job." "Oh, that sounds very interesting. So where are you heading to?" "Heading to New York." "Wow. I think its time to start heading back now,"
"Ok, so what do you do in your management job." She asked. " I just tell people what to do." "It's all so boring." Said Terri. We got back to the beach house, but instead of going in we decided to sit in the chairs and listen to all the noise going on inside. " I sure hope that the owner of this beach house knows what kind of mess there will be when it's all over."
Chapter 3
" I'm sure he does." She said. "I know if I owned a place like this I sure wouldn't want to have a lot of people in it. I would make it a special hiding place for we the stress starts to get to you." He said. "I think after tonight there won't be any more parties here. Some people just don't care about other people's stuff." "You know Andy, you are right."
As the night rolled on people started to leave. Andy asked if I could stay a little longer, cause he just didn't want to be alone right now. We were having a good time talking with each other. After a few drinks, I started to get sleepy. When morning came around as I woke up, I was in the lounge chair with Andy. I don't know how I ended up there but I knew it felt good. I got up very slowly so as not to wake him.
I slipped out and got in my car to head back to the hotel to shower and change. As I was getting back in my car to leave I received a text from Ernie. "Girl, where did you go last night? I was getting worried about you. Just text me to tell me you are ok." Just as I was about to text him back Christy sent a text. "Hey, Sid and I wanted to know if you got off ok." "We want to thank you for all the help you did for our company. Things are now looking up."
