Alanna - The Ball

"Okay, you're finished," Mom said, "Take a look."
I turned around and looked at myself through the mirror. I took a sharp breath. I looked so different. My dress was floor length and it was a dark navy blue. Both the accessories and dress made my red hair pop. Everything is so different from my usual sweatpants and shirt.
"Mom... Do we have to have this ball? Like what's the point?" I asked.
"All I can say is that's it's very important," she replied.
Well OF COURSE it's important! I even heard that fairies from other realms would be attending this ball... But, why? Why is it so important?
The ball is taking place in my realm, The Future Realm. Everyone will arrive in my palace (ugh hate this place) soon. I get up and walk down to the main floor to greet the guests. Some were from The Arts Realm while others were from The Nature Realm. Everyone was so unique.
I felt something grab my hand. It surprised me, but when I turned around it was just my dad, the King of the Future Realm.
"Come with me. Come!" he said, in a hurry.
"Okay, okay! I'm coming! Jeez..."
Why is he in such a hurry? My dad led me into a room. In the room there were already six other girls there. My dad ushered me to sit down and I obliged. He walked to the front of the room where the other kings and queens were and we watched him patiently.
"Well.. As you all know you are all princesses from a different realm. Each one unique and strong. We have gathered you all here today for a very special and important task that we can only entrust to you.
