The hideout is filled with the low murmurs of the Wolf Pack members, their faces half-hidden in shadow, their eyes watching Theodore as he stands in front of the group.

Brooke and Sasha stand close together, feeling the weight of those gazes. Brooke keeps her posture steady, while Sasha, new to this world, fidgets slightly. The room smells of earth and something primal.

Theodore begins to speak in a clam tone. "Tonight, we gather to address something important. Brooke's friend, Sasha, stands before us for the first time.

There were... misunderstandings earlier, but let me make one thing clear-Sasha is no threat to us. She is welcome here, under Brooke's protection and mine."

He steps forward, his eyes scanning the group, daring anyone to challenge his statement.

"And no harm will come to her. She will not be touched. She can be trusted."

The pack members shift slightly, a few nodding in agreement, though some still appear wary.

Brooke takes a deep breath, stepping up beside Theodore, holding Sasha's hand firmly.

Brooke softly with determination. "I know we caused some... issues earlier. And for that, we're sorry."

She glances at Sasha, who nods and steps forward to stand beside her friend.

Sasha nervously spoke, "Yeah, I didn't really know what I was walking into. I panicked. I didn't mean to disrespect... any of you.

I just didn't understand what was happening, but I do now. I can see this is more than I thought. I just wanted to apologize."

Some of the pack members exchange looks, their expressions softening as they sense Sasha's sincerity. A low growl from the back stops the murmurs. One of the members, Zachary, speaks up.

Zachary gruffly spoke, "Trust is earned, not given. But if Theodore vouches for you, we'll respect that. Just don't make us regret it."

The tension in the room thickens, but Brooke doesn't flinch. She meets Zachary's gaze steadily.

"I understand. And I'm not asking for trust to be handed over. Sasha and I won't make you all feel unsafe." Brooke said firmly.

There's a moment of silence as the pack members consider her words. Theodore, sensing the shift, speaks up again.

He middling slightly, "Good. Now that that's settled, we move forward together. Sasha is under our protection. And as Brooke said, trust will come with time. For now, she is one of us."

The pack members slowly begin to nod, murmurs of approval rippling through the room. Sasha exhales quietly, clearly relieved. Brooke gives her a small smile, squeezing her hand.

"Thanks for saving my ass." Sasha whispered to Brooke. She smiled with a slight chuckle.

"Always."

Theodore watches them for a moment before turning back to the pack.

"Now, let's focus on what's coming next. We have bigger things to deal with." He said.

The tension eases as the pack returns to their normal activities, the air less heavy with suspicion.

Brooke and Sasha exchange a relieved glance as they quietly step back, knowing they've taken the first step toward acceptance.

Theodore's authority in reassuring the group that Sasha can be trusted. It also reflects the initial wariness of the pack and how trust will be built over time.

The midday sun shines brightly as Brooke and Sasha step out of the hidden entrance to the Moonlit Society. The old stone walls glisten under the warm sunlight, a stark contrast to the dark, secretive atmosphere inside.
