CH 3: Prologue-Chapter 1|The beginning...

Welcome back! This is a rewritten version of the third chapter!

'What is going on...? A killing school trip?' Techno thought, confused, "No one wants to read a book about that! You guys agree with me right?" He states to the readers, "So~, let's begin our killing school trip! Naturally, you guys are the contestants!" He exclaims while scratching the back of his head.

"K-Killing... contestants...?" Teruteru stuttered, "Wh-What are you saying!? I will absolutely, positively, not allow such bloody events!" Monomi exclaimed but then she got kicked in the face, "Ugyaah! Oww! It hurts a lot when you kick me, too!" She yells out.

"Jeez... Your brain sure is tiny, Monomi. How many times do I have to tell you? Pay attention this time. Except in manga, a little sister is never smarter than her big brother." Monokuma states as Monomi starts crying, "Now then, we got off topic for a while, so let's go back to the explanation of the killing school trip!" Monokuma exclaims "Wh-What do you mean, 'killing school trip'...?" Mikan asked while stuttering.

Monokuma: Isn't it obvious? You guys are going to kill each other!

Kazuichi: Kill each other... I see... K-KILL EACH OTHER!?

Techno: 'I place my bet that he is the first one to go.'

Teruteru: Wh-What are you saying!? That's impossible!

Monokuma: "Well, don't you think it's kinda lame and boring that you all can't leave this island until you all get along? So I'm changing the rules! If you want to leave this island please kill one of your friends! And then, make it through the class trial without getting caught!

Chiaki: ...Class trial?

Monokuma: That's right! The class trial is the real charm of this killing school trip!

Monokuma then shows a screen that shows an image with three red-haired girls on one side and 3 brown-haired boys on the other side with Monokuma in the middle sitting on a chair in the middle.

Monokuma: If one of you gets murdered... The surviving members must participate in the class trial! At the class trial, there will be a showdown between the blackened killer and the other spotless students. During the trial, you'll present your argument about who you think the blackened student is. The outcome will be decided by popular vote and if you arrive at the correct answer... Only the blackened killer will be punished. The rest may continue with their school trip. However... if you choose poorly... Then the one who got away with the murder will survive, and the rest of you will receive your punishment. As far as the class trial rules go...that's all there is to it! Which means, if you kill someone and make it through the class trial, you get to live and leave this island. However, if you are found guilty during the class trial, then you will be punished. Puhuhu, it's a familiar but simple rule, right?

Techno looked at the image while thinking about what Monokuma had just explained when he heard Kazuichi's voice, "You...keep repeating 'punish' over and over. What's the deal with that?" " Basically... An execution!" Monokuma explains.

Techno unconsciously took a step back when he heard the word 'execution', it made him feel a weird sense of deja vu but he couldn't place his finger on it, what he failed to notice was that Hajime saw him take a step back and was looking at him, confused.

"E-Execution!?" Sonia exclaimed and Monokuma's left eye glowed red for a second, "The pleasing punishment that follows the class trial! This is one of the perks of the killing school trip. Puhuhu, what kind of spine-tingling punishments will we see? I can't help it. I'm already excited! There may even be some unique punishments, like impaling you through the head with a thingamajig claw!" Monokuma exclaims.
