I'm Not Ready
Alice's Perspective
"I know what you're trying to do Emmett, and I'm sorry, but I'm just not ready to date again. Maybe later?" I said softly.
"Okay, I know how it feels." I can already tell that I hurt his feelings by the look on his face.
"I just need some time." I said sadly. I stopped what I was doing, went outside, got in my car, and drove to the beach. I got out, and heard someone call my name.
"Hey Alice!" said Bella on her way back to shore with Edward trailing along behind her.
"Where's Reneesme?" I asked.
"With Jacob and Rosalie" she replied. Edward caught up with us..
"Hey Alice" he said as he kissed Bella on the cheek.
"Hey" I responded.
Bella & Edward, Jacob & Rosalie, Carlisle & Esme, Jasper & Phoebe, but there is something missing. Alice & Emmett? Was I too hard on him? As I think for a moment, he pulls into the parking lot in his red Jeep and looks over to me smiling.
