She stands in the hallway with Laura and Max as Logan and Sofiya talk about the children and a message comes through from Logan, telling them to come in. Max walks first and then followed by Laura who wraps her arm around Khanya who is just thinking about random things so her mind can be preoccupied because she was hella nervous.
They reach the lounge area and sit down. Laura sits next to her while Max is next to Logan and Sofiya who are sitting on couches opposite each other.
"Good afternoon Sofiya."Max says as Sofiya keeps looking Khanya before looking at Max.
"Good afternoon Max, Laura and Khanya."She says and Khanya decides to reply.
"Good afternoon Sofiya."She says, causing Sofiya to smile before rubbing her ring finger."First of all,my children's safety comes first,I am not angry with you but with your boss."Khanya nods her head as Sofiya explains her frustrations."For me personally, I don't have a problem with you and it is nice to finally meet you, the boys are always talking so much about it and it is good to hear. And also thank you agreeing to meet me."Sofiya says and Khanya keeps looking at Sofiya and she sounds genuine.
She looks at Logan, who seems to be staring at her the whole time before looking back at Sofiya who keeps her eyes on her before fiddling with her nails. "It is also nice to meet you and also thank you for not taking this opportunity from me."Khanya replies, causing Logan to scoff and causing Sofiya to look at him.
"Sorry to interrupt you but she is speaking the truth. I can take this little opportunity you have but I won't because I already know that I am bad person in your eyes. You were going to say?"Sofiya says before Logan gets up and leaves the room, causing Max to follow him to his office.
"Thank you for giving me a chance to actually be around your children,umm, that will be all."Khanya says, nervous if she said anything wrong because the opportunity was given by Logan but feels like Sofiya has the right to speak if she is not comfortable with Khanya around Kennedy and Sam.
"Well,I guess I will be on my way out."Sofiya says, standing up and Laura rubs Khanya's shoulder before hearing the door close.
"That was so weird."Khanya says, turning around to Laura and she chuckles.
"Yeah."They both get up and walk to the kitchen as Max and Logan are talking while sitting on barstools."Hungry?"Laura turns around and asks Khanya who nods her head."Please take the plates out."Laura pleads, causing Khanya to go to the cupboards and gets the plates.
She puts the plates on the table, causing her to make eye contact with Logan who mindlessly drink his water and she quickly looks away. Him and Khanya have not talked ever since early morning after they were cuddling and just enjoyed each other's company.
They have been giving each other the slient treatment and Khanya was okay with it. As long as she low key doesn't have to be forced to talk to Sofiya then she is fine and just wants to focus on herself.
