Jungkook's POV
The soft glow of his laptop screen falling onto his face, he sat hunched over, his fingers flying across the keyboard. His eyes, wide and focused, were glued to the screen, his brow furrowed in concentration.
The rhythmic clacking of keys filled the silence, punctuated only by the occasional soft sigh or muttered curse.
Jungkook was deep in work, his mind immersed in the intricacies of his project. The surrounding area was littered with crumpled papers, half-empty cups of coffee, and an assortment of pens and pencils.
As he continued to work, a gentle knock on the door interrupted his train of thought. Jungkook paused, his fingers hovering over the keyboard. He glanced up, a momentary flicker of annoyance crossing his face.
Jungkook : "Enter," he called out.The door swung open, and Jimin walked in, a hint of excitement on his face.Jimin: "Hyung, I found her," he announced closing the door behind him.Jungkook's expression remained neutral, but his interest piqued.
Jungkook: "Who?"
Jimin: "The girl from the nightclub,"
Jimin replied, approaching Jungkook's desk.
Jimin: "I managed to get her details."
Jungkook's eyes narrowed.
Jungkook: "Go on."
Jimin handed Jungkook a folder.
Jimin: "Name: Y/N. Age: 21. Student at Seoul National University. Majoring in Fine Arts."
Jungkook's gaze scanned the contents, his expression unreadable.Jimin: "Social media profiles, phone number, address... everything's in there," Jimin added.
Jungkook's eyes locked onto a particular photo. Y/N's bright smile and sparkling eyes stared back at him.Jungkook: "Well done, Jimin," he said, his voice low and even.
Jimin smiled, sensing Jungkook's satisfaction.
Jimin: "I knew you'd want to know more about her."
Jungkook's gaze lingered on the photo before he looked up at Jimin.Jungkook: "Find out more about her family, her friends... everything"
Jungkook instructed.
Jimin nodded, understanding the gravity of the task.
Y/N's POV
At the campus
I sat with Jennie in the cafeteria, sipping on a latte.
Jennie: "Hey, have you started working on Professor Han's project?" She asked.
Y/N: "Not yet" I admitted. "I'm still brainstorming ideas."
Jennie nodded.
Jennie: "I'm stuck too. But I have a bigger problem – Sanghyun."
I raised an eyebrow.
Y/N: "What's going on with him?"
Jennie sighed.
Jennie: "He's being super clingy. I like him, but I need space."
I chuckled.
Y/N: "You're always attracting the possessive types."
Jennie laughed as she said "Tell me about it! I swear, I'm starting to think I'm a magnet for crazy."
Our conversation flowed easily, touching on everything from classes to K-dramas.Just as we were finishing up, Jennie's phone buzzed.
