Torture

Two weeks later, Freda received some guest, Elvis and Jim. Elvis was Freda's boyfriend and Jim was his brother.Olivia came out to say hi on Freda's insistence. Jim commented on her beauty but she ignored and went back inside. The had a quality time all together till day break. Olivia and Freda prepared dinner, as Freda stepped out Jim chipped in, she ignored his presence.
" Hey Olive, you good?" She nodded still not looking at him. He wondered what was wrong with her as she was too scared of something. He just stood there looking at her. Seeing a crust in her hair he tried reaching out for it but she flinched and covered her face. He was confused.
" Hey chill down I wasn't going to hit you. There's crust in your hair." Freda walked in and saw her scared. She questioned Jim.
" I tried to help her and she just freaked out. I wasn't going to hit her." Freda calmed Olivia down and took her away. Elvis came to the kitchen to ask what happened and Jim explained. He called Olivia a weirdo.
   When they had dinner Olivia was sleeping. Elvis stared at Freda for an explanation of Olivia's behaviour. Sensing everything she began to speak.
" Look guys Olly has been through a whole lot for the past years. She's my best friend and I'm doing everything in my best to help her recover. I can't tell you her story but you should only know she's traumatised. Jim trust me she's friendly but she needs sometime to recover. And please don't tell me you're in love with my friend." They all laughed. They spent the night there as they mostly did. The next morning Elvis left as he some work to do. Jim too got ready to leave but Freda asked him to stay for some minutes as she had to get somethings from the grocery store. Olivia was now awake and she didn't want her to be left alone.
    He agreed and stayed but within a few minutes when she left he heard a knock on the door. He turned to Olivia who sat quietly at the table. Getting the door Osborne barged in. On seeing him Olivia run to her room and locked herself up. Jim questioned whom he was but he refused to talk and yelled at Olivia to come out.
" Are you her father or something? Man you're scaring her so please leave" Osborne turned to him. He warned him to stay out of his business if not he would kill him that instant. He didn't get scared and instead dragged him out. Freda also arrived and they drove him away together. Freda rushed to Olivia's door and asked her to open up. She refused. She got a spare key and went inside. She shivered, clutching onto herself tightly.
" It's alright Olly, I won't let him hurt you. Please calm down" She pulled the crying girl into her arms and consoled her. Jim looked on worried.
   That evening when Elvis was back they discussed on how to help Olivia. She used to be a free spirited girl and fun loving. Jim suggested they had him arrested but Freda denied.
" I wanted to do that but Olly insist, he would find his way out and could even hurt her. And on top of that we have no evidence he did that." Olivia stood behind and spoke out.
" We actually do, I have someone who can also testify but I'm still scared. He's very dangerous and capable of everything. Freda he's a psychopath"
" And I'm also psycho you know, he shouldn't dare me" Olivia shook.
" You don't get it, he's really a psychopath and I mean a real one." Freda was now tensed. Elvis asked how she got to know about that.
" Few months ago, he's closers friend Vicky came by. He saw the bruises on me and felt sorry. He advised me to elope and go far away as Osborne was a psychopath. He told he had done this to a girl before and drugged her till she got weak and died. Vicky helped me leave the house and took me to his apartment. He found out and that night he came looking for me. Vicky tried to protect me but instead he got shot" Olivia cried, everyone was shocked.
" He even tried to stab him but stopped when I pleaded with him. He took me away and back into the hell and he always tortured me. I couldn't speak to anyone. I was only able to call for your help when I had the chance to. Thanks for saving me." Breaking down into tears Freda went to console her.
   After she calmed down she told them Vicky was still alive and was admitted in a hospital. He was in a coma and he was the only one who could help them. Elvis disagreed.
" I think is Vicky who needs your help right now. Both of you are victims but I think your statement is enough to have him arrested. Olly you have to speak out, Vicky protected you once and now it's your turn to do same for you. You will tell the police everything you know" Olivia shook.
"You don't have to be scared, we're all here for you." Jim assured her. She agreed to testify against him.
