the school day was now over and you were waiting for oikawa outside your classroom to walk home together
it was a daily thing since your first year, for the two of you to walk home together. even when you guys "broke up", you two remained good friends since the relationship was mainly just for laughs
oikawa walked out the the classroom after 10 minutes. behind him was maki, matsun and hajime
"where are you guys going?"

"starbucks, helping them with
their project"
he emphasised the word 'their'. the two boys laughed sheepishly

"going home, as usual"

"have been waiting on her but
she keeps saying no"
oikawa joked. you shoved him aside as he laughed loudly
"i promise you i will never ever
date him again"
you faked gagged. he gasped

"what's so bad about me? do you
know how many girls would kill
to be in the same room as me?"
you laughed at him
"okay whatever, we're gonna
get going now. see you all
tomorrow"
the two of you waved goodbye at the 3 guys and started walking home

"cmon y/n, let's get back together

you flipped him off as he laughed again
"okay jokes aside, how are
the 2 of you?"

"chiasa? she's great"
"so do you like like her?"

you nodded and the two of you didn't say anything after, and just walked in silence
it was an awkward silence or anything, the two of you walked in comfortable silence, appreciating the others' presence
soon later, the two of you reached your house. oikawa walked you to your front porch before waving goodbye to you
