If I told myself three years ago that I would be engaged to Marcus rashford I would have told you that you were simply out of your mind but hitting the two years mark and living for more feels so good,about two months back Marcus proposed to me and I couldn't say no,I was over the moon for him.But I wasn't always like that,when we first met I didn't trust him at all.
Growing up,my father was abusive and acholic so I grew up never drinking alcohol and will never drink it,Marcus on the other hand didn't drink always and alot but once a while after winning a game he drank abit,which scared me at first,Marcus always tryed to prove himself as the correct one for me and the one that wouldn't hit me if I didn't or say something wrong.
He would do all kind of liitle sweet gestures such as buying me my favourite flowers,always checking up on me,taking care of me when I am sick,inviting me to his games and when I am on my period he would do everything to help me ease the pain or forget about it or even just cuddles.It took me around 4 months to fully trust him and when I finally did he asked me to be his girlfreind I said yes as I thought that I could give the dating life a try but soon realized that I said yes because of so much more.
One thing that I love about Marcus is that he never tells me its only a little shot,he never puts pressure or forces me to drink or do something,I always loved that side of Marcus,the side that he was sweet,gentle and adorable.
About two weeks ago me and Marcus started to plan the weeding as we wanted to get married in the summer time in August so Marcus had a holiday so it wasn't that he got married one day and the next day he had training or a match.It wouldn't be fair on him.So far everything was going to plan we already sorted out the venue,which was a a quiet flower garden which was next to a barn,we both decided to get married in the flower garden and have the after party in the barn.Simple but memorable.
