Jayleena POV:
It's Sunday and I am currently getting dress for Church. I live with my sister Jessica & my grandparents Kim & James Owen's. Jessica and I been living with our Grandparents since we were 4 & 5. Jessica is 21 and older. Our grandparents been our parents since our Parents died in a car accident. I'm a Christian and I've always been raised in the church. My family and I go to a church where it's not a black church, it's an everybody church. Different race of people comes to this church. It's a popular church with many people. Tomorrow is the day I go to college , my major is to become a Nurse like my grandmother, thats what she wanted me to be. I thought I would want to be an Author but I guess My grandparents don't see that happening. So a nurse it is since my grandfather said it will get me more money. My sister Jessica keeps a secret from our grandparents, Jessica is a stripper and works the late night shift. But she lies and tells our grandparents that she works the overnight shift at a Hospital. Jessica always teases me about not getting myself out there and getting with guys like she does. But I'm too shy to. I was currently in my room , looking at myself in the mirror , wearing this dress shows off my figure ever since I lost all that weight , I've been trying on new clothes. It was a white dress with Pink and yellow flowers on it, and I was wearing white heels.

Just then I hear a knock on the door. "Come in!" I said.  Jessica walks in with her brown dress and brown heels on. "Hey , Grandma told me to come get you so we can leave for church!" She says. "Okay, I'm ready now!" I said grabbing my Bible off the dresser. "I do have to say, ever since you lost all that weight! You've been looking good!" She says. I look down thinking what did she think of me before, so I just looked up at her and smiled saying "Thank you." "Come on let's go!" She says grabbing my hand. We walk outside after locking the door and greet our grandparents as we get in the car. "My beautiful granddaughters , always looking beautiful!" Says Grandpa sitting in the drivers seat. "Yes, girls look splendid!" Says Grandma in the passenger seat. "Thank you!" Says Jessica and I at the same time. "Now let's go to church and  get our praise on!" Says Grandma. Grandma starts driving the car playing gospel music.

Once we finally made it to the church, there were so many cars in the parking lot,that grandpa had to park in the grass. We got out the car, we all could hear the Choir singing. We walked up in church and took our seats in the middle row. It was packed and everyone seems so happy. We stand up and started clapping in rhythm with the choir as they sing "The Presence Of The Lord Is Here." After the choir sung a couple more songs , Pastor Mike came to the stand.

It's been a good 30 Minutes since the Pastor was preaching and I could feel a pair of eyes staring at me. Jessica who was sitting next to me smiling and whispers "Girl turn around  that white boy is staring at you!" I slowly turn my head to the right and I see this tall brown headed white guy staring at me. He then smiles. I quickly turn my head back around and whispered to my sister "Omg he just smiled at me!" "Ouu girl you better get with that! I think he likes you!" She says. "No he doesn't!" I said. I look over my shoulder one more time to see him and his friends chatting as they look at me. I quickly turned around and focused on what the Pastor was saying.

After church ended after 5 whole hours, I was getting hungry for lunch and I had to get home to finish packing. Grandpa and Grandma were talking to the Pastor when just then they called Jessica and I over. "Girls we were just telling Pastor Mike how you young ladies should get into Ushering! Isn't that right Pastor Mike?"Says Grandma. Jessica rolls her eyes and says "Sorry Grandma we won't have time! I work busy schedules and Jayleena starts college tomorrow!" "Oh, is that so? Well my Nephew Nicholas starts college tomorrow as well! Come here Nick!" Says Pastor Mike. Just then , the guy that was staring at me earlier , walked over towards us with a smile on his face.

"Nicholas , these are our good members of the church Kim & James Owen's!" Says Pastor Mike. "Hello Mr & Mrs Owen's it's nice meeting you." He shakes both of their hands. "And These are their Granddaughters Jessica  and Jayleena!" Says Pastor Mike. He than shakes Jessica hand and when he gets to me, he sticks his hand out for me to shake. I side eye Jessica. She nudges me and says "Girl shake his hand!" I shake his hand and he says "It's a pleasure meeting you." With a smile on his face looking me in my eyes. "So Nick , what is your Majoring in for college?" Asked My Grandfather. "I'm going for football!" Says Nicholas. "Ahh, nice. Well my granddaughter here is going to be a nurse!" Grandfather says. I rolled my eyes at the thought of being a nurse. I just want to become an author, but I don't want to let my grandparents down! So I have no choice.

"What kind of nurse?" Asked Nicholas making eye contact with me. "A Perioperative Nurse!" I said. "Oh that sounds nice. Isn't that when the nurse works with surgeons?" Asked Pastor Mike. "Yes it is!" I said. "Well you're going to do an amazing job!" Pastor Mike Says Smiling. After Pastor Mike and Our grandparents talked a little more about, it was time to leave. "Well we better get going! Jayleena has some packing to do!" "Yes ,so does Nicholas. Isn't that right Nick?" Says Pastor Mike. "Oh yes!... I guess I'll see you around then on campus?"Nicholas says looking at me. "Oh umm.. Yes!" I said blushing a little. "Alright! We'll see ya later!" He says before walking off. Is he flirting with me?

"Come on Jayleena!" Says Jessica. I follow her out of the church. Once we were in the car and on our way home. Grandma says " I think church was nice today! How about you girls?" "Yeah church was nice Grandma!" Says Jessica. She then looks over to me and whispers "That Nick guy is so into you!" I rolled my eyes and says "No he isn't!" "You two going to college together, something's definitely going to happen between you two!" Says Jessica. I looked out the window and says "I doubt it!"

So after watching Monster: The Lyle & Erik Menendez Story, I've officially fell inlove with Nicholas. Has anyone else ?
