𝑵𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒊 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒕. She wore it like a second skin, draping herself in innocence, charm, and an endless smile that could disarm just about anyone. But beneath the sweet exterior, there was something darker—an endless hunger, gnawing at her, urging her to feed off the raw emotions that brewed in others.

Especially Bakugo's.

Lately, he'd been unraveling at the seams, and she could sense it from miles away. Every brush of his presence, every fleeting glance, radiated with confusion and barely suppressed frustration. She had planted the seeds, subtly winding her way through his subconscious with dreams and visions, and now, the cracks in his composure were showing.

She lived for this moment—the delicate balance between his obsession with her and his desperation to maintain control. And today, she'd decided it was time to push a little further. Time to check in on her "prey."

Nanami spotted him just outside the training grounds, standing alone, his back against the wall, scowling like a caged animal. His sharp red eyes were fixed on the horizon, but the twitch in his brow, the slight quiver in his clenched fists told her everything she needed to know.

He was losing grip.

And she was going to enjoy every second of it.

Stepping forward, she deliberately lightened her footsteps, her smile as innocent as ever. She had perfected the art of slipping into someone's space unnoticed, but today, she wanted him to know she was approaching. To see her coming, yet feel utterly powerless against her.

"Bakugo!" she called out, voice saccharine, melodic even, as if she was genuinely excited to see him.

He snapped his head in her direction, eyes narrowing. She could see the initial surprise in his gaze, quickly masked by his usual scowl. That delicious mix of emotions—curiosity, wariness, frustration—flashed across his face, and she drank it all in.

"What do you want?" His tone was sharp, defensive, but there was something else there, something deeper beneath the surface. He looked at her like he was trying to piece together a puzzle, as if he couldn't quite figure out why she was here, talking to him.

Perfect.

Nanami offered a small, concerned smile, taking a step closer. She kept her body language open, soft, as if she were genuinely worried about him. "I just noticed you've been... different lately." She tilted her head, her voice softening. "Are you okay?"

She knew full well he wasn't.

Bakugo's jaw tightened, his eyes flicking away from her for a brief moment before snapping back. "I'm fine," he spat, his voice laced with irritation. "Don't need anyone worrying about me."

"Oh, but I do worry." She moved closer still, watching him bristle slightly at her proximity. His energy was so raw, so volatile—it was intoxicating. "It's just... I've noticed you've been on edge. You're not yourself." Her tone was laced with feigned sweetness, the perfect picture of concern. "I just want to make sure nothing's wrong."

In reality, she was feeding off every ounce of his negative emotions—the tension in his muscles, the anger simmering beneath his skin, the confusion in his mind. Every time he grew more agitated, more frustrated, she could feel her quirk reacting, soaking in the negativity like a sponge. It made her feel powerful, alive.

Bakugo's eyes narrowed, suspicion flickering in his gaze. He wasn't one to trust people easily, and she could tell he was trying to figure her out. But even as he scowled, as he stared at her with those piercing eyes, there was something about the way he held himself that betrayed him.

He was intrigued by her. Drawn to her, despite himself.

"I don't need your help," he growled, his voice low, warning. "I'm not some charity case."

Nanami placed a hand gently on her chest, feigning innocence. "I'm not saying that at all, Bakugo. I just... I care about you." The lie rolled off her tongue so smoothly, so effortlessly, that it almost sounded genuine.

She saw the way his brow furrowed, the slight flicker of confusion in his eyes. He wasn't used to people approaching him like this, with warmth, with concern. It made him uncomfortable. Defensive.

And that's exactly what she wanted.

Her fingers twitched at her side, resisting the urge to reach out and touch him. She didn't need to—she could already feel the waves of negative energy rolling off him in droves. He was a storm barely contained, and she was soaking in every bit of it, growing stronger with each passing second.

"You're acting weird." Bakugo's voice was quieter now, more suspicious than angry. He took a step back, crossing his arms over his chest as if he were trying to shield himself from her.

Nanami just smiled, her eyes soft, gentle. "I'm only acting this way because I care. You don't have to hide anything from me." Her voice dropped to a whisper, just loud enough for him to hear. "I'm on your side."

She could see the struggle in his expression, the way he was trying to reconcile the sweet, concerned girl in front of him with the confusion in his own mind. He didn't trust her. He couldn't. But at the same time, something about her drew him in, made him pause.

It was the perfect combination of emotions—uncertainty, anger, frustration. It was almost too easy.

Before he could respond, she took a step back, her smile never faltering. "But I won't push," she said softly, her voice still dripping with concern. "If you ever need someone to talk to... I'm here."

With that, she turned on her heel and walked away, her steps light, almost graceful, as if she hadn't just fed off every bit of his frustration and confusion.

Behind her, she could feel his gaze burning into her back, his anger bubbling just beneath the surface. But there was something else there too—something darker, something more dangerous.

Obsession.

Nanami's smile widened as she walked away, her mind already spinning with the possibilities. Bakugo was spiraling, falling deeper into her web with every passing day. Soon, he would be completely under her control.

And when that happened, she would have him exactly where she wanted him.
