A fathers unnecessary Self hatred💔

Charlie left Lucifer for assuming he was the reason her mother left, which put him in a terrible place of making ducks to cope with her move. But after a year, she reached out to him, not knowing that she was only causing him more distress and when she saw all of the ducks, she was livid.

"What is wrong with you?! I am reaching out to you despite everything that you have done, and you still can't get out of your own way! God! I feel sorry for you."

She turns to leave, but Lucifer stops her, "Don't turn your back on me!!" He shouts at her in a small bit of his demon form. Charlie gets mad at this, "I SHOULD'VE TURNED MY BACK ON YOU AGES AGO!!" She yells back, eyes turning red, horns appearing, and hair flying around.

Lucifer's anger quickly turns into heartbreak, "C-Charlie, please don't g-go, please..." he begs, horrorified that she could abandon him.

"No, dad! I'm not staying with my horrible excuse of a dad! You're the reason mom left. Don't bother calling me again." She yells, storming off and slamming the door.

Lucifer runs after her, "Charlie!! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!!" he begs, knowing she was the only reason he was willing to live. If she hates him, what's the point.

Charlie didn't budge and just kept on walking to the exit, "Bye dad. I hope you feel better without me in your life." She says, "CHARLIE PLEASE!!! I NEED YOU! You're all I have left..." Lucifer says, but Charlie just opens the door and slams it shut, leaving him alone in the huge empty castle.

Lucifer stood shocked for a few minutes before tears started streaming down his face. His family abandoned and betrayed him, his wife left him, and now he drove his daughter away too. He had nothing and no one. He was alone.

He rushes to his room and takes out an angelic knife from the night drawer, and starts cutting his arms slowly and painfully, trying to distract himself from the pain inside his heart. He started bleeding profusely.

(You deserve this. You deserve this! You're a horrible father and husband! You are useless! You can't even get out of your own miserable way! You're a traitor to your family! A horrible king! You should just do them all a favor and KILL YOURSELF!!) He thinks.

With that thought in mind, he slowly brought the knife to his neck. (You have nothing left to live for.)

Back with Charlie.

She was on her way to her hotel, she suddenly realized that she forgot her phone there. She groans and reluctantly makes her way back.

She enters the castle and makes her way to her dad's room. She noticed the castle was oddly quiet. More than usual. She keeps her focus on getting her phone.

She gets to the room and knocks but there was no answer. She checks to see if it's unlocked, which it was. She enters the room filled with rubber ducks and spots her phone on his desk. She takes it and is about to leave when she suddenly notices a golden liquid puddle behind a pile of ducks.

She gets curious and decides to see what it was. She walks up to behind the pile and her eyes widen in shock and horror.

There she saw her father laying in a pool of his own blood, pale, unconscious, and not breathing. She notices the angelic blade in his hands and her face fell.

She runs over to him, dropping to her knees and grabbing him and cradling him. She notices the cuts on his arms, and her heart drops to her stomach seeing the deep cut on his neck, still bleeding.

She scrambles to feel for a pulse. Tears form in her eyes as she feels nothing, no sign of life, "D-dad... wake up... please..." she begs tilting his limp head to the side and brushing hair out of his head. He doesn't respond to her touch or her begs.

She notices the tear stains on his face face and feels horrible knowing that she caused him to do this to himself. Tears start streaming down her face as she sobs and pleads for him to wake up.

"Dad...please w-wake up...I'm s-sorry...please...d-don't l-leave me..." she begs through tears, but Lucifer doesn't respond.

She hugs him tightly. Her tears soaking his shirt, "I'm s-so s-sorry, dad..."
