Unexpected Call

As the sun began to rise, soft rays of light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. The gentle brightness nudged Aria from her dreams, and she slowly opened her eyes. For a moment, she took in the sight before her: Richie was cradling her in his arms. His hands rested possessively on her waist, anchoring her close. The warmth of his body enveloped her, providing a comfort that made her heart flutter. Their legs were tangled together, intensifying the warmth between them. As she shifted slightly, Richie stirred awake. He pulled her even closer and whispered in her ear, "Good morning, beautiful." A soft smile spread across Aria's face as she leaned in, their lips meeting in a gentle kiss. Moments later, they both got up and freshened up for the day. Breakfast was ready, but Richie refused to have any as he needed to be home before his father noticed his absence. With a quick goodbye, Richie left, leaving Aria to have breakfast with Elsa, her assistant. As they sat together, Aria asked Elsa about the day's plans. The week ahead was packed, and Aria braced herself for the busy schedule.

Meanwhile, Joe was having trouble deciding on a gift for Kevin, his thoughts divided between pursuing a solo career, working on his own songs, and still making time for partying. Nick, on the other hand, was enjoying his time with Priyanka, feeling pleased with the gift he had finally chosen for Kevin. Paul had been really busy lately, having recently collaborated with Edward, while Kevin remained busy working on his albums.

One Week Later:

With just three days left until Kevin's birthday, Joe finally made up his mind about the perfect gift. Meanwhile, Aria had been busy with her guitar performances, continuing to play at malls, cafes, and parties. Her love for the instrument kept her taking on more contracts, but today was different, today was exhausting. It wasn't the work that drained her; it was the thoughts of Richie. It had been a week since they last saw each other, he texted her sometimes.  She arrived home at 11:30 pm. She threw her bag aside and dragged herself to her room, collapsing onto her bed without a second thought. Her body felt heavy, but her mind was wide awake, filled with  thoughts about her future and her relationship with Richie. As she lay there, staring up at the ceiling, the quiet stillness of the night eventually made her fall asleep.

In the morning, as the sunlight hit Aria's face, she turned away, trying to sleep a bit longer. Her phone suddenly rang, making her flinch. Seeing an unknown number, she hesitated but answered. "Hello, is this Aria Monroe?" a voice asked, waking her up a little more. "Yes, it is. Who's calling?" she asked, confused. "I'm Jake, Paul Jonas's assistant," the voice said. Hearing this, Aria sat up quickly. "Okay.... What's the matter?" she asked, now wide awake. "Paul wants to offer you a contract to play guitar at his son Kevin Jonas's birthday party," Jake explained. "WHAT THE... are you serious?" Aria exclaimed, almost yelling in excitement, then quickly apologized. "Sorry, I didn't mean to shout." Jake laughed. "It's fine. So, if you're interested, I'll send you the party details and payment information." "Of course, I'm interested! Please send the details! Honestly, I'd do it for free!" Aria said, still in shock. "You don't need to play for free," Jake replied with a chuckle. "The party is the day after tomorrow, so I'll send everything over shortly." "Thank you so much! I'm free and super excited to play at Kevin Jonas's birthday!" she said happily. "Great! I'll send the details soon," Jake said before ending the call. As soon as she hung up, Aria screamed in happiness. Elsa, her assistant, rushed into the room, worried. "What happened?" Elsa asked.

"I'm going to play at Kevin Jonas's birthday party!" Aria shouted, sharing her excitement.

She immediately texted Richie to tell him the good news, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
