It had been a few days since mai had a adventure with natsuik in the Baron Archipelago (mai weren't fired, tirp for going on a danger thankfully; apparently natsuki was well-known to Chief Umeda). mai were wondering if natsuki really would call her up to go with her on another ingredient request. It was mai hope that she would, but she tried not to get her hopes up too high in case she were disappointed.

"mai, are you ready?"

mai snapped out of your thoughts to turn around. "Ah, yes, Johannes-san!"

"Then let's go," he said, striding into the Central Gourmet Wholesale Market.

mai went after him but everywhere she looked there was something interesting to see and mai couldn't help looking. The Central Gourmet Wholesale Market was commonly known as the World's Kitchen, where any Gourmet foodstuff from any region is commonly available. This vast and diverse market spanned a total of three thousand hectares and boasted nine hundred thousand tons of food sold and billions of yen changing hands each day. It was amazing!

Johannes, a Food Development Manager from the IGO Development Office, finally looked back at you, adjusting his dark sunglasses. "Please stop dawdling, mai. We'll miss our target sale!"

You blushed, smiling excitedly, "Sorry! It's just all this food is really distracting. This really is the World's Kitchen. Rare ingredients as far as the eye can see!"

hana heard your voice and looked up from what he was doing, "Hey! Don't I know you from somewhere...?"

mai registered hana's voice and mai head snapped towards her as she smiled, "Hi, hana-san! Thanks again for all your help!"

"Just glad you didn't come back in pieces," she replied. "Speaking of natsuki, she said she's bringing my shop some goods today. Wanna check it out?"

mai became flustered with excitement, "Huh? natsuik-san's going to be here?!"

"Somebody call me?"

mai head spun at the sound of her voice, "Whoa! What timing!!"

natsuik grinned, hauling an Underbite Dragon on her shoulders, "Yo!"

The crowd became excited, shouting her name and pointing her out.

hana focus was on the goods natsuik brought. "Oh! An Underbite Dragon, huh? That thing has to weigh at least a ton!"

natsuki dropped it, getting right down to business, "How about forty-thousand per kilo? It's been knocked out."

mai recalled that a Gourmet Hunter may temporarily immobilize a creature using a thin needle or other such instruments to administer a shock to its nervous system. A creature that's been "knocked out" could be transported live. However, it took considerable knowledge and experience to pull off such a precise maneuver, and special permission is needed to perform it on some creatures. Gourmet Hunters frequently retired in style after patenting their methods.

"Let's make it thirty-thousand per kilo," hana bargained. "My clients aren't made of money."

mai got excited, "Oh wow! I'd love to buy some for our hotel!"

"Sure thing," hana said easily.

"I don't know," Johannes said doubtfully, adjusting his sunglasses once again. "We have to adhere to the prices set by the IGO... Whatever we pay becomes the market price."

"Tell that to natsuki," hana told him. "She'd love to hear it."
Johannes reconsidered. "On second thought..." He turned to said hunter. "Excuse me, natsuki-san."
natsuki glanced at him, "Hm?"
"I heard you slayed a Garara Gator... No wonder you're a member of the Furious four. I just wish the other three would follow your example and contribute to the growth of the Age of Gourmet."
natsuki closed her eyes, "Hmph... You can't turn iron ore into silver."
"How apropos," Johannes said. "By the way, I hope you'll be pleased to know IGO has another request to make of you."
natsuki held up her hand, "Oh, please. Doesn't IGO already have tons of Gourmet Hunters and the heanvly king working for them? They don't need me."The rainbow fruit is fully ripe the man said.
