It was a Sunday and with the clinic closed on Sundays Scott was able to spend the day with Lou, Catie, and Georgie and go on a trail ride. Halfway on the trail ride they come across two horses tied up and and straight ahead they saw Mallory and Jake on a ridge sitting on the ground kissing. Georgie, disgusted by what they were seeing said rather loudly "eww oh my god we have to turn back now!!" Mallory's head swivelled and she stood up so fast it would have made someone's head spin. "Oh my god Georgie could you have been any louder we were trying to have a nice lunch on my day off!!! Jack promised me no one would use this trail today and he was sworn to secrecy!" Jake stood up chuckling and said "well I guess that's our cue to move out love muffin." Georgie, Lou, and Scott all raised an eyebrow and Georgie said "Love Muffin? Wow gross much?" Mallory shoved Jake and said "Not in front of them we have to be professional!!! Let's go." And with that they got on their horses and galloped past the group.

Later at dinner everyone was sat down at the dinner table when there was a knock on the door. Lou said "I'll get it" she walked over to the door and when she came back everyone turned to see April Goodstony standing before them. Scott looking the most shocked said "April what're you doing here?" April smiled and said "It's nice to see you too Scott." Then she looked to Ty and Amy and said "Amy, Ty you're looking well um I just need to talk to Scott it's about the horses on the reserve." Scott excused himself and he and April went out on the porch and sat down to talk. "April why are you really here? I know it's not about the horses I got your letter I can't go back I'm not the man I was when we went out all those years ago I'm- I can't I've made a commitment." April looked at him and said "A commitment? To who?" He replied "Lou. She and Peter have been divorced for over a year now and we've just started a normal dynamic and I've really grown to love Catie and Georgie." April laughed incredulously and said "Oh please you never wanted to be tied down to anyone." Scott stood up angrily and spoke harshly saying "April I love that woman and I let her go once and I've regretted it ever since."
Back inside Lou was pacing the floor in the kitchen and Jack spoke up saying " Lou your gonna burn a hole in my floor and I'm quite fond of it." She turned to him exasperated and said "Well grandpa how long do two people have to talk about horses you know the last time he saw her they literally kissed over saving a herd of wild horses. Yeah he told me." All of a sudden the door swung open and shut as Scott walked back in from the porch. "So it's nothing really to worry about she just needs some general vaccinations for the domestic horses on the reserve apparently the council asked her to get some for the whole reservation. I told her she could pick some up tomorrow at the clinic in the morning." He walked over to Lou and said "It's nothing to worry about now if you don't mind I'm gonna get going home I'm a little beat and Ty and I have a early morning." He kissed Lou and then said thank you to Jack and went out the door.

The next morning the phone rang and Lou answered it. " hello?" "Hi my name is Thomas Grange I work for Dubai international Airlines is this Lou Flemming the next of kin of Peter Morris?"
