AN: we are getting closer to the end of this crazy AI adventure. Man, It has been one heck of a journey, And to think this was my first book here and it is already been a little over two months since the first chapter came out.
AN: You will hear much more about that once I finish this book.
AN: last time YN went into a nightclub to look for Shadow and Silvervale but had no luck finding them there and when he got home he got lots of pokes from IronMouse and Kson which made it hard for him to sleep.
AN: now did he get any sleep in the end? Let's find out.
The morning sunlight filters in through the window, gently rousing you from your deep sleep. You yawn and stretch, feeling well-rested after your late-night adventure.
*YN POV*
As you sit up on your mattress, you hear some soft murmurs coming from the living room. From the sound of it, Kson and IronMouse are already awake, discussing something in hushed tones.
YN now somewhat full of energy gets up and walks into the living room.
As you enter the living room, Kson and IronMouse look up at you with tired but awake faces. They're each sipping a cup of coffee and conversing quietly.
Kson: Yeah, we were starting to wonder if we poked you into a coma last night.
YN: well, I might have woken up a bit earlier if it was not for you two thinking yesterday night was the perfect night for me to be a fun pincushion to for you guys.
They both laugh at your comment, clearly amused by your memory of last night's events. Kson grins, her tone playful.
Kson: Hey, you can't blame us for taking advantage of such a prime target. You were just so tempting, laying there all defenseless and sleepy.
IronMouse: Yeah, and let's be honest, you put up with it like a champ. We were just testing your limits.
YN: fair enough. but anyway, have you guys gotten any news about Shadow and Silvervale?
Their expressions darken slightly as you mention Shadow and Silvervale. Kson shakes her head, a note of concern in her voice.
Kson: Not yet. We've been monitoring any signs of activity from the Order of the Black Rose, but so far it's been quiet.
IronMouse: We have no idea if they're involved, or if Shadow and Silvervale are okay. It's like they've vanished into thin air.
YN: well then there is only one thing left for us to do and that is to go to Shadow's place and look for clues.
Kson and IronMouse both nod in agreement, their expressions turning determined. IronMouse then sets her coffee mug down with a decisive thump.
