Chapter Nine: "I'm really sorry I-I really am!"

* GoGo *

I pedal my bike all the way to the hospital as fast as I could. I just received a text message from Honey Lemon she said the boy is awake which is pretty interesting to me. Finally! When I get to the hospital, I parked my bike in front and secured it with a lock.

I ran through the elevator fast then pressed the floor by myself. As I'm waiting, I tap my feet on the floor getting excited. The elevator opened then I run fast towards Hiro's room when I saw the same girl who's outside of the door with her palm on her chin sitting on a bench probably thinking.

I stood there inches away from her but she didn't seem to notice me. Now it's time to talk to her "Hey?" I coughed. She lift her head then furrowed her eyebrows "Yes?" She said weak.

"Um--What are you doing here?" I asked sitting down besides her. She blinked for a second then smile "Why?" She said. I shrugged.

"Why don't you enter inside?" I suggested peeking on the door which is closed then I heard her giggle "No thanks" She smiled.

I feel weird about this girl I don't even know her, Maybe a little introduction will do the help "I'm Leiko Tanaka call me GoGo" I offered my hands then she look at it confused "I'm H-Hairi H-Hamada" She grab my hand as she tremble in nervous. I raised my eyebrow Hamada?

"Yeah I know you're surprised, Didn't anyone told you I'm his sister?" I shook my head "Great!" Hairi rolled her eyes then turned away "Hiro is your brother? but that's impossible!" I asked but she didn't answer.

I was behind her curious, I thought this girl is her girlfriend or whatever? I didn't imagine it was his sister!? Pretty interesting to have another Hamada. I was about to poke her when someone from the room opened the door surprisingly to see us sitting there.

"Hairi?" Cass called her niece with worried. Cass kneeled on the floor as she hold her shoulders "Why are you crying?" Cass wipe her tears using her fingers. Wait she's crying?

"N-Nothing" Hairi sobs wiping her tears with her sweater "Is this about Hiro?" Cass looked at her in eye as I watched them. Hairi nods then giggle
"He don't like me and I ruined my first impression with him" Hairi exclaimed.

"Look sweetie, Hiro is just surprised don't think something like that" Cass cheered her up. Hairi is obviously trying to hold her tears but let go when Cass giggled. Hairi sobs as she hug her Aunt real tight.

Cass gestured me to enter inside and I did. I walk towards the door then slowly opened it, When I finally opened it the whole people inside the room look at me awkwardly.

"Am I in bad timing?" I asked scratching the back of my neck "No" The lady smiled "You must be GoGo" She asked offering her hand "Uh--yeah?" I nod in confusion, grabbing her hand.

"I'm Jess" Jess added with a cheerful smile "Leiko call me GoGo" I smiled again. I search around when I saw Hiro laying on the bed looking at me "Hey!" I waved my hands "Hey" Hiro said in a weak tone forcing a smile.

I sat on the chair where Honey Lemon is talking to this another teenage girl "Hey!" I elbowed her "GoGo you need to meet Ezina she knows a lot in fashion" Honey said as the girl waved her hands to me "Ezina" She said.

"GoGo" I replied "OK, So I've been looking at this book" Honey interrupt by bringing out a magazine on her bag then showing it to Ezina as Ezina tackle her about fashions again. As I yawn in boredom.

* Hairi *

I'm inside the park with Aunt Cass. She brought her fat cat named Mochi speaking of cat I miss my rabbit. She's the only one I can talk to when I'm having a bad mood or I'm sad. I walked to a fountain where couples are around dating. I ignored them then touch the water with my fingers.

It's cold. I smiled then wipe it in my sweater then I climb over a tree and swing my legs vice versa. I look at the people around this park then smile when I feel something hit by my legs "Aww!" It yelled. I widen my eyes then quickly look down where a boy was there holding his head "Oh my gosh!" I covered my mouth as I got down quickly.

I stand in front of him while he holds his head. I tried to help "I'm so sorry, I-I really I am" I said in nervous. The boy grunts "J-just--" He pushed my hands away which is kinda rude. I furrowed my eyebrows, I look at his hands where I see a paper "I better go, My Dad needs me" The boy look at me and I felt weird.
"Bye--I guess?" He said walking away. I watched him go as he reached to a man sitting on a bench then all of a sudden they went outside the park. I sigh in relief this is my most unlucky day. What was I thinking climbing up that tree!?

I decided to went home. I walk towards Aunt Cass she's holding her cat while it played on a yarn. I waved my hands at her then smile "Hairi?" She immediately went to me worried "What happened, D-Did someone--" I cut her off.

"No, Aunt I'm fine. Let's just go back to the hospital" I said weak, starting a step heading to her car. I sit on the front row besides the driver's seat then put my palm on my chin and stared at the window. Aunt hop on and put Mochi at the back who's waging its tail and looking at the window.

"Hairi,  I told you Hiro likes you" Aunt hold my back. I didn't turn around instead I ignore her. Aunt started driving as this car is full of silence.

For about ten minutes we arrived at the hospital. Again. We ride the elevator and got to the floor we always go to. Aunt grabbed my hand then we both enter the room together.

"I'm so happy you're awake Hiro" We heard a man's voice from inside Hiro's room "Looks like we have a visitor" Aunt giggled. She enter inside while I follow her walking weak inside.

"Hey, Aunt!" I heard Hiro said then I came in "Oh, Hey Hailey" I glared to him raising my eyebrow "It's Hairi" I corrected "Oh, Hey Hairi" I smiled. Maybe Aunt was right?

"This is Marc" Hiro introduce the man. "So you're the one who save my nephew?" Aunt asked shaking hands with the man as he giggles then turn to me "Wow, You look like Hiro"

"I get that a lot" I nod as we did the same thing "Hiro, Have you met my son?" Marc asked. Hiro shook his head "You'll meet him, He got hungry so" Marc said as he shrug. I sat down then realize GoGo. she's missing "Where's Go--" I got cut off cause someone opened the door and it was the boy!? The anonymous boy that I hit on the park. HE'S HERE!?

I stood up surprise "You!?" I pointed him. Everyone began to be silence probably confused on what's going on. The boy pointed me "You!" He gasped.

"I see you met my son"
