This a work of pure fiction. I was inspired by the latest photo shoot of Mr. October (octobersthirteenth) from Instagram, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms. This is giving modern Dracula vibe. Mr. October is my muse for Vlad Drake. I do not own the picture; it is a screenshot from his Instagram.
I do not own the rights to the story Dracula. Just a woman who has been obsessed since seeing a long haired, fine tailored, fitted grey suit wearing Gary Oldman back in 1992. Become more obsessed after learning about the real Dracula. Strong, powerful, runs his enemies through with pike and make a forest of decaying bodies. You know.
This will be a work in progress. I will post chapters when I am done with them. Again, I write on Word and copy/paste here. I am my own editor. My cats have abandoned me in my time of need. :(
There will be parts of the story that might trigger people. I will be writing about a past sexual assault on the FMC, Jordan and kidnapping and near sex assault in her present day.
The personal relationship between the two main characters, Jordan and Vlad will be an easy, playful, yet plutonic one until later in the story. Jordan is fierce and unapologetic for living her life like she wants. Not afraid to call a vampire a few colorful names when she feels the need to. There is no master/sub here. They are equals.
Vlad Drake is not going to be portray as the aristocratic vampire. He is a modern businessman who took a chance to jump start his life, leaving everything in his troubled past behind him. Also, he smoked a lot of pot in the sixties so that helped him relax. Has a flair for mixing Victorian garb with modern clothing pieces. Knows he is sexy and can have anyone, yet his heart is set on one.
Yes, Vlad will be a touch her and die kind of guy.
Also, I know in the tales, Dracula does not partake in food. In this one, he does to make himself seem more human. After all the years, he has his favorite eatery now.
