Chapter Nine: Gathering of the Family Part Two: Aria & Lillie

Aria: We have two objectives for the next two weeks. I've finally convinced Ash to let me join you two, so I can help. First, all of us need to gather pokemon, getting stronger. The second is dealing with gathering the Chaos together. This will be done in one week, got it? The next week is training with the pokemon, getting all of them to the weakest admins level at least. Then we go back to the field, getting stronger as we go along.

Lillie: I thought Ash was in charge.

Ash: She's smarter than me, so she makes the plans.

Lillie: Got it. So how do we...do this?

Ash: Split up. I get my pokemon and Gary, you two get your pokemon and whatever else you need.

Aria: That's good, but have you told her about-

Ash: No, you do it. I've had enough Aether for a while, she's your problem.

Aria: Alright, it'll give me time to-

Ash: Interrogating her should be easy. Just be-

Aria: Yeah I'll be careful, and I'll interrogate her. You-

Ash: I'll be careful too.

Froakie: I forgot they do this, they can read one another's mind.

Winter & Lillie: I hope I get that one day. Wait, why am I thinking of-

Froakie: Come on Winter, let's go.

Winter: Can we talk later?

Froakie: Of course.

Aria: Ash, you know Fennkein and Winter has a crush on-

Ash: I am aware, and I know it'll work out. Froakie is a-

Aria: Pokemons man, I know.

Ash: Let's move on, I'll see you guys in a couple days! (Vanishes)

Aria: Well, let's go, Aether. Something tells me he's going to find a mindless one.

Lillie: What's a mindless one?

Aria: It's a term for legendaries under Lusamine's control. She's found a way to warp their thoughts, making them mindless so they can't break free. Knowing Ash, he'll find one, capture one, fight one, or all three.

Lillie: Why do you think that?

Aria: He's an adrenaline junkie, just a tamer one. He doesn't try to find danger, but it usually finds him. He just became a junkie because of it. He'll always pick the most dangerous options when it's just him solo, but when it's us he picks the safest options.

Lillie: What about his pokemon?

Aria: He loves them more than anything, and that's saying something.

Lillie: You keep describing him like he's the center of good, when he himself says he's the embodiment of evil.

Aria: He's made some tough calls. Choices, that...didn't always work out. Ash blames himself for it all, even though it was my fault. Ash thinks of himself as the villain, because he made himself the villain to the world.

Lillie: He did mention that he's the villain in history books.

Aria: Try as it might, it'll get to anyone. They'll eventually crack, becoming everything society said they are. He's lasted this long, and that's enough to be grateful.

Lillie: She really loves him; I can hear the despair in her voice.

Aria: Ash saves everyone, from everything. He's kind, but a little psychotic. I've grown to love him. He gives me everything he can and tries his best to stop your family. Being the bad guy...it doesn't bode well in either of our minds. His very nature, a loving man who wants to help others, is at war because he has to be the villain. (Glares at Lillie) That's the real reason everyone in my home hates you, because you and your family made a 10-year-old kid a villain for no apparent reason.
