Love is an E̶m̶o̶t̶i̶o̶n̶
Love is a game.

Love is what people can afford, barely, because some it gets by luck, some gets it forcefully, some stick to it and some gets real love but still can't keep up with it, maybe because they get it from some unwanted.

But there's another side of love exists too.

And that exists for the luxury world, people who are ridiculously rich, where love is just a give-and-take, where if you're willing to give something then your signing a contract to take something as a return.

Even though in the game of love or in real love people sacrifices many things, but this is different.

They call it TWO BUSINESS FAMILIES UNITING THROUGH MARRIAGE.

You can call it A PAWN!
Pawn for those who are being dolled up for their family's business beneficiary drama, who are going to keep up with eachother even if they hate eachother in the name of so-called love!

They are going to show it to the entire world that they love eachother and got tied together by their own choices, but deep inside, it's not like that. They don't love, they just play a important role in front the world for their family's sake, for their reputation.

But this game of love is messier than you can even think of.

A married woman who belongs to the prestigious royal family, who has blue blood in her since she was born has a very unpleasant side.

An affair after marriage, just because you don't love or like the person isn't it too much for a royal woman like her?

....

"Wasn't that woman hilarious? Huh!" A chuckled left her as she was being sarcastically dramatic, trying to hide her pain.

She's hurt.
Hurted deep inside.

After all she deserved it.

"A bitch like you is a shame to the royal family as well as to our kingdom!"

Each and every words echoes into her ears, she dugs her nails into her palms.
Taking off the mask from her face as she tears it apart. She looks down at her white shimmery dress which got wine all over it. The woman threw a glass at her after saying those as she left from the ballroom, as she fell into the center of attention.

Not because she did something that needed to be praised for, but for something she should ashamed of.

With shaky steps and heavy breaths, her eyes red due to crying, tripping over her own heels as she fell on the marble floors with a loud thud, she still crawls towards balcony.

Making sure not to make any noise of sobbing as she hides her face into her palms, a slight touch of blood staining her cheeks.

A man followed behind her stepped inside the room as he locks the door, picking up the mask from the floor, as he stood in the middle of the room.

A slight smile on his face seeing her like this.

"You deserved it," he murmurs to himself as she calls her by her nickname.

Nickname that only he uses, "Ruby"

She stood up as soon as she heard him calling her, with her wobbling feet she somehow ran towards him, hugging him close to her, like there's no tomorrow.
