Jeremy sat across from his lawyer, the thick mahogany desk between them covered in papers outlining the inheritance agreement. His grandfather's passing had left him a fortune, but there was one stipulation—he had to write a book about horoscopes, detailing personal interactions with people of each zodiac sign. And it wasn't just any book. His grandfather wanted depth, character, and a unique perspective.
"What does this even mean?" Jeremy asked, leaning back, exasperated.
The lawyer, a sharp-dressed man named Eric, adjusted his glasses. "Your grandfather was always a man of eccentric tastes. He believed in the stars, that the zodiac shaped people's personalities. He wanted you to explore each sign thoroughly by interacting with people of every sign... intimately."
Jeremy blinked. "Intimately?"
Eric cleared his throat. "He wasn't explicit in how, but I'd imagine he was implying some level of close interaction. Maybe even sexual encounters, though I don't think he anticipated—well—" Eric paused. "Let's just say he didn't know your full story."
Jeremy looked away, his mind swirling. His grandfather had been an old-fashioned man, a traditionalist who'd never been told about Jeremy's secret. The inheritance was vast, enough to secure Jeremy's future, but the task felt insurmountable. His sexuality was something he hadn't fully explored, let alone explained to his family.
As Eric continued explaining the legalities, Jeremy's thoughts wandered. Could he really do this? Write a book that delved into the characteristics of zodiac signs through personal experiences? And could he do it by... experimenting with men?
His heart raced at the thought. He hadn't come out yet, but maybe this was an opportunity to explore who he really was.
Later that evening, Jeremy found himself at a familiar place—a gay bar in the heart of the city, dimly lit, filled with energy. He'd texted his friend Carlo (with a K), someone he could always rely on to help him think things through.
Carlo, a carefree and flamboyant spirit, greeted him with a wide smile. "Jeremy! You look like you've seen a ghost."
Jeremy took a seat at the bar, shaking his head. "It's absurd, Carlo. My grandfather's will... I have to write this book about horoscopes, but instead of meeting women, I'm thinking about... meeting men."
Carlo raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Wait, wait, wait. So, your old-fashioned grandpa is forcing you to explore astrology, and you're going to do it by hooking up with guys? I love it already!"
Jeremy frowned. "It's not that simple. I've never really explored that side of me. I've kept it... hidden."
Carlo leaned in, his voice softer now. "Listen, Jeremy. This could be the perfect chance. You don't just have to explore the zodiac signs—you can explore yourself. Your desires. Who you really are."
Jeremy hesitated. The idea was crazy, but there was a thrill in it, too. He had always held back, but maybe this was a chance to dive in fully, to see what he'd been missing.
"So... where do I even begin?" Jeremy asked.
Carlo grinned, taking a sip of his drink. "Start by looking around. See that guy over there? He's giving you the eye. What's his sign?"
Jeremy turned, his gaze landing on a tall, dark-haired man across the room. His heart pounded as he considered Carlo's words. This was it—the start of something bigger than he could have ever imagined.
Jeremy smirked. "Guess it's time to find out."
And with that, Jeremy's sexual journey begins, now filled with both uncertainty and excitement. He is ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, using the stars—and the men he'd meet—to guide him.
