"Isn't our dear Jungkook looking so beautiful, unnie?" Jungkook's younger aunt said with a wide smile.
"I never noticed that Jungkook was this pretty," said his elder aunt.
"You’re absolutely right, unnie! No one can compare to our Jungkookie," his aunt said.
"I'm just waiting to see Taehyung's reaction!" the younger aunt said excitedly.
"Yes, if you two had been there that day, you would have seen how Taehyung was staring at Jungkook. It was as if the rest of us had disappeared," said their sister-in-law, causing Jungkook’s two aunts to burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, Jungkook sat quietly, listening to his aunt and uncle’s playful conversation. Seeing him remain silent,
“Don’t worry, dear, everything will be alright,” his aunt said, placing a hand on his shoulder. His two aunts stood beside him, all of them showering Jungkook with affection. He was such a good boy, just like a dream come true for them.
Hearing his aunt’s comforting words, Jungkook gave her a small smile and then turned back to the mirror to see himself. It was the first time he had worn makeup. He didn’t look too bad, but he started feeling insecure. One question kept echoing in his mind: “Why? Why would Taehyung want someone as ordinary as me so desperately?” But no matter how much he thought about it, he couldn't find an answer.
Lost in his thoughts, Jungkook was slightly startled when his mother entered the room.
She had raised him with her own hands, watching him grow before her eyes, and today, her baby bunny was getting married. It felt like a fairytale. Without being a mother, perhaps she could never have truly understood this feeling. Tears of emotion trickled down Miss Jeon’s cheeks.
