"Michelle !time is running out the bus will leave us and you know momma won't spare us if we miss church because of that"Effie shouts while slamming the door behind her.

"Give me 2 minutes little sis ,thus we can even walk it's not like we don't know the way to church is it?."Michelle replies.

They both manage to get a free ride and arrive at church just in time for intercession.
They quickly settle down and pray.

When the time for greeting church members arrived,Effie locked eyes with a well built dashing Smartly dressed Gent,whose confident, charismatic and guarded personality was reflected in his walk and handsome face.

"Hi , my name is Mr.Slades you can call me Kylie what's your name my lady?"he said to Effie.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Kylie, well I am Ms.Paige you can call me Effie."she responds.

The two lock eyes for awhile then they quickly snap back to reality then they focus on the church service.

As Church service ends, Effie quickly takes her belongings and within a blink of an eye starts going home to escape the spark that is slowly igniting in her heart, something tells her to look behind and she surprisingly locks eyes with Kylie who is suprisingly looking at her.
She quickly looks away and speeds up to reach home.

"Uff!it was a tiresome Sunday, the sun was scorching and my forehead was paying the price for it I am so exhausted, I just want to rest my head on a soft pillow and lay down in peace"Effie says to herself while changing into her pajamas.

Before the clock strikes 8pm
She dozed off and was already in the Dreamland.
"People fall in love I could be among them but I'm not one of them"she sleep talked in bed with a smirk on her cute face then she fell into a deep sleep.

"It's 6am,WAKE UP! SLEEPY HEAD"Mitchelle yells from the kitchen.
She continues"weekend is done and I am on my way back to London little sis,I gotta catch the flight real quick , I've prepared breakfast and sent cash for rentals , you might need it and if you run out I'm only a call away."

"I got you there,I know you got me covered "I reply.

I run downstairs to give her a warm hug before helping her take her luggage in the taxi.

"By the way you will be staying with Diana until you get used to staying alone"she says to me while entering the taxi.

Hey wait!I'm 24 surely I will manage you don't have to bother Diana."I exclaim

"Little sis I insist thus you two are childhood friends and will assist each other well ,okay I'm running late now I love you"she says as the taxi starts off.

I sigh while going back inside,as I realized my sister just left me in California.

Well I'm independent plus Diana and I will have so much fun.

Suddenly I receive a text while brushing my teeth.

"Effieeeeee! open the door I'm outside"Diana deadpans.

I quickly rush out cause I know she doesn't like waiting.

"I missed you girrrll!"she says while giving me a warm tight hug,Her green piercing eyes sparkling with excitement as she messes my curly afro with her fingers.

I missed you too"I reply

GUESS WHAT!"She says while widening her eyes at me.

"What!?"I ask

We are going at my brother's birthday party!"she deadpans.

Nope!"I ain't coming.

"Come on ,Effie stop playing hard to get, plus my brother is really handsome who knows you two might become a thing"she says to me with a sly smile.

Buttt—"

She shuts me off and continues"WE ARE GOING AND THAT'S FINAL! it's about high time you found yourself a boyfriend !"

Listen I literally have nothing to wear"I make up an excuse.
"And I have interviews to catch up with in 72hrs"

"Shut up!you can't fool me
You were interviewed two days ago and I recall seeing you shopping the same day!"
She bluntly says to me.

"Please Effie,I won't ask you for anything else please!"She says while pulling up a puppy face.

Fine fine ! let's eat then start preparing."I unfortunately say yes to it.

She hugs me again while jumping up and down.
"That's why I love you , Shawty."

The two of us spend the early hours, watching movies and eating, laughing
Teasing each other and stuff.

"It's 5pm, Let's go take a shower so that we manage to find a ride."She says.

The two of us quickly get ready,but when we look at the time it's already 6pm.

"The heck!hell no did we spend so much time dressing up"we deadpan while rushing out to find a ride.

Luckily we manage to catch the ride and off we go.

This is just the beginning of the love story of two stubborn souls.
Imagine locking eyes with a fine girl or dude let's just say your crush🤧🙃 the butterflies you would have in your tummy the glow you would have on your face Issh! just imagine it for awhile.
