Mo Chen drove the car towards the wall. When they had nearly reached it, he yelled, “Jump!”

The other three immediately jumped out of the car and followed his orders to rush to the fence, while he turned around and drove back some distance away. The line of fire from the high-rise building continued to chase his car, and even managed to hit the car several times, which really made others break into a sweat out of fright for him. However, he followed it up by beautifully swinging the car around so that his car door faced the wall, and jumped out of the car and rushed behind the wall, successfully meeting up with his teammates. Almost at the same time, the car was turned into a sieve and exploded on the spot!

The wall was very low, so even people needed to crouch to hide completely, let alone a car. Because Mo Chen had been worried that the car would get hit and explode while they were rushing towards the wall, and had also wanted to draw the enemy’s line of fire to fight for time for his teammates to hide, he took the risk to turn the car around, before giving himself an opportunity to jump. Fortunately, although the maneuver was alarming, it was not dangerous, and all four members of CLM were unhurt! However…

“There’s only a minute left before the poison ring shrinks! CLM is still not in the circle yet!” Magic Xi commented. She sounded even more nervous than the four members of CLM.

After she spoke, the director quickly cut to CLM, this time showing Wen Xi’s perspective.

“They’re not far from the safe area. Will they manage to get there in time?”

As soon as Xiao Bu’s voice fell, they suddenly saw Mo Chen raise his sniper rifle from Wen Xi’s perspective. With a bang, he hit the head of the enemy on the high-rise building in a single shot, and directly knocked him down. Mo Chen then went around the wall and ran forward, with Wen Xi following him. After taking just a few steps, someone shot Mo Chen. Mo Chen shot back offhandedly, and managed to knock down the other person. It was pretty much a case of one shot, one hit. Wen Xi had originally wanted to finish that person off with an arrow, but after seeing Mo Chen continue to run, he almost instinctively put down his weapon and caught up with him. As a result, the entire audience at the scene discovered—for a long time, Wen Xi’s perspective only contained Mo Chen. Mo Chen ran, while Wen Xi was following him. Mo Chen’s perspective switched back and forth between the door and the enemy, while Wen Xi’s perspective just had Mo Chen. Magic Xi resisted the impulse to raise her hand and cover her eyes.

After coughing, she said, “It seems that it won’t be a problem for Mac and Wency to enter the safe area. I don’t know how it’s going on Kitty’s and Windy’s side?”

After she spoke, the director cooperatively cut to Ling Shuyi’s perspective. Ling Shuyi and Chen Wei had picked a route completely different from Mo Chen, instead going around and into another building. Mo Chen and Wen Xi had run out first and drawn most of the enemy’s fire, so Ling Shuyi and Chen Wei didn’t suffer many attacks along the way. They gave each other a look after entering the building. Although the characters in the game didn’t have expressive eyes, they could still see an appreciative expression in each other’s eyes.

Ling Shuyi: I now know why the captain likes Wen Xi so much.
