Just once

Truth or dare

this is one of Nathan's bad habits. He greets new people with a smile, says 'its all on me' and encourages them to drink. once they are completely drunk, like Colin's case, he makes the person drink excessive amounts of wine, and pays it all from their wallet. due to them being in a drunk state, he slips in some extra cash from that person, and later, if they ever find him, says he didn't have change to pay it all on his own. 

But he decided to make it a meaner experience for Colin. he decided to completely humiliate him in public, and then slip in some extra cash. Colin's fault for taking his heart, even just for a bit, right?

"everyone! remember that childhood game of truth or dare we all used to play?" Nathan said inviting everyone around. "lets play a short game!"

Nathan was drunk himself, but wasn't so much that he would loose his sense of decision making, and could still rationally look at the situations, although due to his personality and quirky nature, he probably doesn't look very 'rational' to anyone.

including Eve, Colin and himself, 6 other people joined a round table in the center of the hall

"1,2,3"

"4,5"

"6,7,8"

"9"

it went on and finally landed on Colin, as if planned. the crowd was eyeballing the scene and everyone seemed to be waiting to see the new comer's choice

"truth or dare Coli-"

"dare"

"why, you choose that quite fast" Nathan smiled and signaled Vivian.

"those who don't pick dare are cowards. plus, you can't trust them that they are saying the truth." said Colin, who drank more liquor with a bottle this time, and drank half of it in one, big gulp.

"okay" said Vivian, a lady with equal charm as Eve. she had long purple hair, and had painted her nails black, in a gothic style. she rested her head on her hand, and looked towards Nathan, who wasn't his usual self today. She had seen the entire scene from before, which popped an idea in her head. She was a twisted lady, but a one with good heart, a fun person to be around.

"you're sure you want dare?"

"mhm...yeah."

"kiss Nathan"

"I...?!"

everyone looked at Nathan, Nathan looked at them back the same way. what was Vivian saying? kiss him? he was not so sure about the plan anymore.

"woah! me? what the h*ll? make him kiss Eve, if you want. he was legit staring at her the entire time"

Eve was a bit embarrassed. she did not want to get kissed by anyone. "wait, I'm staff! you cannot violate or do anything to me against my will, remember? i don't want him to kiss me!" she flinched and stood up.

Colin slowly rose from the table.

"okay.." said Vivian, turning her head towards Eve "Just on the cheek okay Ev-"

Vivian stopped talking. everyone stopped. the music was just going on with no one dancing to it for a whole minuet.

at that moment, without Nathan's consent, Colin had drabbed Nathan's shirt collar, and kissed him on his lips. Colin's face was burning, and that sent a chain reaction to Nathan, as his eyes widened when he realized what was going on.

Colin's hand tightened his collar, when Nathan tried to pull back just a bit. Colin slipped his  tongue in an showed an expression of total satisfaction. he closed his eyes and kissed him as if he had all the time in the world. Nathan opened his eyes and saw Colin close to his face. the colors around him intensified. it was as if he was in a dream. he was living the dream
